Very sorry about my review earlier I would like to add that this facility is just understaffed and the gentleman explained it to me and stated he was over worked and I didn’t comprehend correctly I want to sincerely apologize and say that my experience and customer service was beyond expectation once I slowed down I was experiencing some sort of jet lag because of the rain and my own personal time sensitive agendas but this facility didn’t over react to me overreacting. And I thank you.

I recently caught an October deal at Public Storage, and my initial fee was a steal! This was my first time ever using a storage unit, and I’m happy with the experience so far. I got a 10x10 for $84, which feels like a great deal. Literally did everything online and didn’t have to speak to anyone at all, the lock was in my storage and ready for me to use when I arrived. The location is very clean, and I love how convenient it is to access everything using the app on my phone – I can open the gate and enter the building with ease. The elevators work great too, making it easy to move my items. Overall, I’m really pleased!

I booked a unit here and upon arrival, realized that the unit was not at ground level. Even though the booking said “level 1/ floor 1”, my unit required a ladder just to be able to access it. I had to cancel my reservation because there was no way I could haul my items up a ladder with one hand just to place them in the unit. At first they transferred me to another unit that WAS on the “first floor/level”, but the door had previously been kicked in and the gate wouldn’t shut all the way to the bottom. It was very janky. I ended up booking with i storage, their units are much clesnrr and up to par

This storage facility is the worst. Loading and unloading is a challenge because there’s no elevated, covered area to do so. The facility is filthy! Good luck finding a staff member because they’re always outside the office. This is problematic because access to the restroom is dependent on them unlocking the door. An access code is needed for entry to the property, storage building, and elevator. Has management considered the same for restrooms?? Yesterday I moved out and the bathroom was out of service. Staff directed me to the nearby QT. This large facility has no more than (6) pieces of moving equipment such as carts,. My experience of being a customer for over 2 years is not good. Look at alternatives and don’t rely strictly on location which is a nightmare given roadwork at Lavista and Briarcliff.

After driving from Miami and getting the run around from the first public storage, I found this public storage on briarcliff rd. The manager, Chad, was awesome in taking care of my needs with the type of storage that was needed. I will be coming here again.

There was a little confusion and I had to upgrade however, Chad reassured me that public storage had the resources that I required to upgrade. BEWARE! This place is being run by crooks! My family had a storage unit here for multiple years. They changed ownership in the last year, and we could not have hard a worse experience. Rent kept increasing steadily, and when we went to close our account and remove our belongings from the storage unit there was an additional public storage brand lock placed on our unit. It was impossible to get a hold of anyone on the property during business hours. When we finally tracked someone down they said the lock would be removed that day (no explanation as to why it was placed there in the first place.) when we returned to the unit with a rented Uhaul to get our belongings the lock was still there. Once again, no one available on site during listed business hours. We returned the next day only to have the property manager state “this was a customer lock,” and there was nothing he could do but recommend a lock smith who’s phone number he had saved. We were able to get our belongings out, but it was an absolutely horrible experience that left everyone in our family feeling disgusted. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else and this Public Storage site desperately needs investigated and a change in management ASAP!

Unfortunately I haven't the had of the best Experience at this location. In august of 2023 There was a nigerian man who was most unkind to me when I tried to gain access to my unit. It turned into a verbal alteration and this gentleman lied to state that I physically caused harm to him. He was acting irate and was very abusive in his speech towards me. This resulted in the manager calling my personal phone on which I was accused of actions which did not occur. My unit was then auctioned off and I lost very valuable and personal items. Which is what I wanted to avoid in the first place.

Title: Substantial Rate Increase at Public Storage
I have been a patron of Public Storage and have recently been taken aback by a significant rate increase. Over a period of 7 months, my storage units' prices escalated by approximately 36.65% and 34.57%, which averages out to an overall increase of roughly 35.62%. While I'm aware that inflation may necessitate price adjustments, a jump this large in such a timeframe is quite startling. I hope Public Storage can address these concerns and consider a more moderated approach to pricing changes in the future.

Organized storage space. Decently priced. However, not having a cart to load and unload is rather annoying and inefficient. Bring your own cart, because people apparently just take the PS ones and put them in their unit.

I was just contacted by Public Storage Briarcliff about vacating a unit where a lock was apparently broken. I have never had a storage unit at this location and simply told the man who called that same thing and I was hung up on. Never once did the man apologize or did he verify that he had the correct telephone number. I called back because I simply wanted to share a piece of professional advice and I was hung up on again. The man would not give his name and a young lady was there as well.
I HAVE NEVER DONE BUSINESS HERE AND I NEVER WILL. I URGE OTHERS TO GO ELSEWHERE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Don't have dumpster or trash cans of any kind. You have to pay for a trash removal service or take your trash with you. Very expensive if you during long term use. Price goes up between $50 to $100 every 6 months to an year.
I rented a storage unit back in February. Honestly i was forcing myself to go because a friend told me about a female worker in that location always being rude with an attitude and uninterested. But since its the most convenient location I decided to just go ahead and rent it despite of the negative feedback I’ve heard.
To my surprise, Chad contacted me and I scheduled to go that day for the renting process.
Chad was so delightful, knowledgeable and kind! I was so happy I didn’t have to deal with anyone’s attitude. Overall the process was quick and easy! Chad’s customer service was superb! I 100% recommend Public Storage thanks to their amazing employee!

They're rates are ridiculous. I've been with them for nearly 3yrs and I paid the intro price and then every 6mos they went up and up. I eventually left when they asked for $400. I'm like Public Storage I am not residing in your bldg. Why would I pay $400 rent for just stuff. There not cleaning, rearranging, counting etc... (LOL) I guess the plan is not to use them for a long period of time. Overall the bldg is clean, plenty of carts and the team is friendly.
I had the pleasure of being assisted by an exceptional young man on my Public Storage visit yesterday by the name of Tray. He answered all my questions, showed me a unit and explained the process of reserving a space. He was kind, knowledgeable and patient. Because if him, I decided to return and rent a space today. After a stressful day of moving, my interaction with Tray made my day better. He seems truly concerned about his work and the customer.

Trash. No one is onsite to walk you through the maze of units. Accidentally put my stuff in the wrong unit, the unit below the unit I rented. Property manager left inaccurate notes and then trashed my box, a box that had my Military Service record and Health Record along with other irreplaceable documents. Would never use them again and definitely wouldn't recommend this location. New management was just as unhelpful.
Do not rent from here, choose a different location! They have decided to restrict my hours to access my storage unit that I have paid for on time and consistently every month. So I can not access my unit when I have time to, because i work during the day. I have called the national call center and told them this, and they claim there is nothing they can do.
They now want me to take off work, spend time and money to drive an hour to physically come in to the office. I pay my bill, and get treated like this. Don't rent here

Chad was so helpful and made my experience seamless and stress free. One thing I would say is that Public Storage needs to hire some more employees, he had to do everything by himself and I could only imagine how overwhelming that could be.

We went to this facility for storage. Chad, the manager, greeted us and was very professional, friendly and helped us find our storage needs. After signing up he was very helpful in explaining all the rules of the property, how to access the property and installing the public storage App. Chad showed us our unit as well as a tour of the facility. We would recommend this location for storage needs.

DO not rent here! They doubled my rate after only 3 months — complete rip-off and they lure you in with low rates that are super deceptive. Expect to pay 2-3 times more after 2-3 months and then 5-6 times more after a year.
This place is poorly managed for such high costs. The office is often locked and the staff is unreachable (~ 8/10 times). And the inside hallways and bathroom are dirty.
The bathroom is usually out of toilet paper and/or soap… or it’s just locked from the outside for some unknown reason.
The staff isn’t the most pleasant and they’re usually understaffed. Since only one person typically works the grounds, they lock the front office for hours at a time. It would be helpful if there was some way to reach them if necessary.
Due to the office being locked, another issue is the lack of carts. They keep them in the front office so that they’re not stolen and therefore you can’t rely on borrowing a cart, dolly or any supplies.
Lastly, the app doesn’t work seamlessly with the doors even with the phone settings being optimized. One must often retry the access button or just manually type the code. For the nearest entrance to the indoor units, it’s almost impossible to use the app to access the elevator since it’s so close to the main gate and will open that instead.
Overall, I’m so unhappy with this storage unit location and have decided to move to another company. I would definitely not recommend this site.

Every time I've gone to this facility I have not been able to get a dolly to move my belongings. No matter how many times I call the office during business hours, nobody answered the phone and the door was locked. When I called the customer service line, they were no help either. I waited over an hour on 11/26 for assistance. After leaving several messages, I have still not received a return call from the site manager.
Someone broke cut my lock off my storage and replaced it with a lock from public storage. Smh Then they try to tell me I’m lying no somebody broke into my storage.
The manager provided excellent customer service and thoroughly explained the contents of the rental agreement.
My lock was cut off and a different lock was place on my storage. The same lock that public storage sell. The property manger TRISH!!!! Is terrible!!!!!! She was no help with me telling her my storage was broken into. I was expected my items to safe all my things was stolen only things I was left with was furniture I lost a lot with this storage smh
I really enjoyed the service provided by Trish at this location. I've had bad experiences in the past with storage places but she made me feel comfortable and reassured me that I was at a great location.
ADVICE BASED ON EXPERIENCE. I was at this location for 8yrs on auto-pay. With no notification, my storage unit jumped over $100. I only found out by looking at my banking account. As a Disabled Veteran on a fixed income, this is unacceptable. I have spoken with corporate several times. They totally disregard the fact I was a loyal auto-pay customer for 8++yrs. Not to mention that while they were building the new building I could not access my unit for a few months (was fenced off). But. I was still required to pay my bill. With all that being said , here is a lesson learned. This company does not care about the customer or service, just your $$.
Highly recommended !!!! Very clean and secure !! The associate Chad was very helpful in getting us the right size unit for our belongings and directing us throughout the building if you need safe , secure , and affordable storage in the area I recommend this public storage location

Very disappointed in the dramatic price increase of this storage unit. Lack of carts makes it difficult to move belongings in and out. I was told by management that people are stealing the carts and they aren’t going to replace them. If I could give them no stars, I would.

Me and my girlfriend got there last minute and He helped us out and walked through everything.
I was told proceed would not increase by more than 5-10$ per month and it has gone up to 200$ a month in the matter of a few months time. That’s a $160 increase. And there are never carts available to get your stuff in and out, I’ve had to wait hours before. Pick a different storage unit.

This PS facility is fairly new and security is good so I feel my belongings are safe here. I've had good experiences with the staff at this location. Trish (the property manager) is excellent and very customer-service driven, she really helped out the other day when I switched from one storage unit to another. I'll stay at this storage facility because of her.

Me and my husband was at the facility and let me just tell you the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. I asked the lady for a cart as I am a single mother this chick rolled her eyes and said she didn't know where it was at and when I asked her where I could find it she said she didn't know. I would seriously recommend you going somewhere else and take your business somewhere else as I already did checked out the exact same day I will take my business elsewhere these businesses think they can treat their customers and their guests as if their second to them and it's not okay if I'm paying you my money I want group service or at least respectable service all the way

Rented a storage unit over the summer to store my college dorm stuff. Chad was the gentleman that helped me. He was very nice and showed me how to properly secure my items in the unit and how to use my passcode to get in and out of the gate. Everything went really smoothly and I really recommend this place.

I had a really great experience over at Public Storage on Briarcliff. After visiting 2 other storage places it was a breath of fresh air being helped by Chad, he was knowledgeable about the units helping us to make an informed decision given what we needed to store. He made sure we got the best deal, an accessible unit & ensured that we were all set up on the app for a seamless move in, all while making us laugh throughout the process. All of this worked in our favor the next day, had we not purchased the correct unit we would have been in a serious bind & time crunch. Thank You Chad & Sharon!
Needed a small unit over the summer for our college student to store his dorm room supplies. Stopped by as we were driving by, because our alternative was Storage Squad. Ms. Sharon was who helped us and was kind enough to show us a few options. She was so knowledgeable and helpful in helping us narrow down the perfect unit for our son. Honestly, it's rare these days to meet someone with her warm smile and people friendly skills and honesty. Stop by and say Hi to Sharon if you need any storage services.

This location has the friendliest staff. I was able to see the space before making a payment and they kept their promises with me about reserving a unit and upgrading to a bigger one for the same price. I was able to easily move all of my stuff in one trip using the carts. Also, super clean and lots of security! 10/10 would recommend

They rented my reserved indoor space to someone else. Then tried to rent me an outside space at a higher price. I reserved a storage space at 2080 Briarcliff Rd in Atlanta, Ga. I brought the printed reservation with me to the storage facility. I presented it to the agent Yieshia. She first quoted me a price $25 higher than the reservation but corrected it. I asked her to show me the space. She pointed to a drive up space outside.
I showed her the reservation that was clearly for an inside unit on the first floor. She said that my reservation had been changed. No explanation (other than lies) of how or why. No apology. I asked to cancel the rental and refund my money to my credit card. She printed out a moveout receipt with her name stating that the rental was cancelled . It is now 5 days later. The rental has not been cancelled. My payment not credited back to my credit card. She lied. I already lost half a day of work and was not able to store my items. Now I am losing more time from work trying to correct this issue and get a refund. I will never rent from Public storage again. Worst experience ever.
