Went to may storage today. It look like someone tried to cut the handle were my lock was. Went to the front office to let then know it look like someone was trying to cut it. The manager told me are you sure its not an old cut. I said im not senile. I would not have put a lock on a slot that was almost completely cut through as there are 2 slots. He said if there are no shavings its an old cut. I told him I haven't been there in 2 weeks. Between that time and now the handle was messed with. I asked for the corporate number he wouldn't give it to me. He told me to start and investigation I would have to call the police. I asked why my property wasn't touch the handle was damaged.

I don’t know that these reviews are real, I needed storage for one month. Called and checked if a pad lock would suffice with customer service, they said yes. Got a call from them saying that my unit wasn’t properly locked. The lock they left in the storage had a key broken off in it, so it was unusable. They put their own lock on, and when I made plans to pick my things up on the 3rd they knew it would be emptied because there was no longer a lock. Needless to say, they are still attempting to charge my card for an empty unit, and refuse to leave a message with what it is they still require. They also took my lock and never put it back in the storage and went through my things. Go anywhere else.
Edit: Another property manager called me from Waters ave, explained we found that I hadn’t even rented the storage for a full month, and they were still trying to charge me for two months. Said that she would escalate it to her superior, not to charge for two months, and three days later, they’re still attempting to charge me. Since I can prove my dates and that the unit was emptied on the third with photos, my bank is blocking their charges as this is theft at this point. This place is a joke.

DO NOT sign with these lying, money-hungry cowards.
I was guaranteed by staff that if I had all my stuff out by the end of the month, I’d be cleared. So I rented a U-Haul out of my own pocket, got every single item out, and even told the guy at the front I was done. He looked me in the eye and said, “You’re good. I’ll take care of it.” He never did.
Instead, they kept charging me. even though security footage shows I haven’t set foot on that property since the day I moved out. Then they had the audacity to send me to collections. Collections. Over their own screw-up. I had to dispute the charges and ended up settling just to be done with their bullshit.
But here’s where it gets real grimy: they bait you in with a lowball intro rate—mine was $23/month. Then every few months, they jack it up another $20+ without warning. By the time I left, I was paying $68/month for the same damn unit. It’s a scam disguised as a business.
This place is why people don’t trust a handshake anymore. You’re not dealing with decent people here. You’re dealing with an a real life "Scam likely" phone operator —spineless, two-faced opportunists hiding behind a counter. If you value your money, your time, or your sanity, run far from this place.

I made a mistake didn’t measure my boat right and booked a unit that was too small. This guy was kind enough to relocate me at a better rate nonetheless thank you public storage. I have used you over the years many times your managers have always been so respectful to me, we will continue our business relationship till the day I die I’m sure.

I moved out of Public Storage months ago, yet I’m still being charged for it. Despite paying all my bills on time, I was hit with two extra months of charges after I had already left. Trying to resolve this has been a nightmare—nobody answers the phone, nobody knows how to help, and there’s no clear way to cancel. The whole process is frustrating and beyond unreasonable.
On top of that, this place is overpriced, and the service is terrible. The way they handle accounts makes it nearly impossible to leave without extra headaches. I would not recommend this place unless you’re absolutely desperate. Save yourself the trouble.

This location is very unprofessional. Today is Oct 22nd 2024. They have locked us out of our ability to access our work vehicles on the property. They refuse to explain why and expect us to just accept this. No I do not. I've had no choice but to find a new storage place on such short notice which isn't easy to do. The lot is supposed to be open from 6am to 9pm everyday. For the past two weeks it's been locked. They refuse to open the gate. I lost two weeks worth of work because of this. Then they post some paper sign to the gate saying open from 9:30- 5pm . That's not going to fly with 90% of the people who store vehicles on the lot. My name is April Pitre from Valrico i do not recommend renting from this particular location because they are just going to ignore and do whatever they want instead of being professional and honoring their agreement. When working class citizens are being denied access to their vehicle in order to support themselves. Havoc will be achieved

This is a great storage location for your things, they have different size spaces and outdoor spaces for cars boats and trailers. I only needed to switch my space and customer service did not seem to understand however the manager Belinda cleared everything up for me asap, and got me on my way. i think CS needs to be in the field more.

This was THE BEST storage rental I have experienced. Belinda is so kind and courteous. Yesterday I came in to get assistance with switching out my unit due to issues with the door. Pablo and Lisa helped out and made the process as smooth as possible. Lisa then realized what my true concern was for the unit and she fixed it. I was very grateful since we didn’t have to go through the issue of moving our stuff from one unit to the next. Moving into Tampa i needed small spot for short time. Read the add 1st mo $1. Then $43. A month. Online only. I go ahead and book and pay $75.00, 1$1. + $41. +$19.99 their lock & $29.00 admin. I no sooner pushed to pay, i realized it was too far. I called immediately, was given refund for all bot $29. Admin fee. I said wait I only just pd. Sorry let me give you another #. 2 sups later i was told i should read the fine print. I'm 80 yrs i can't see fine print. Dont use this business if this is how they sam the elderly

Well this was a real disappointment. I guess the young lady in the office didn't want to work.We had an appointment to see a 10x10 space. It must have been about 95degrees . so after waiting for her.She finally got up . She was really bothered about something because she walked us all the way to the spot seeing me carrying my friends oxygen tank which was quite a distance .she didn't even bother giving us a ride to the spot . She was something we did not expect very unhelpful.did not say a word . I put one star in order to let you guys know what expect at this place. Deserves no star.
The location is closed despite it saying that it is open by both Google and the Public Storage call center. I wasted 2 hours waiting for the property manager to show up and they never did, and she refused to pick up the phone when I called for more information.
