I think they are overpriced. And they are going up again. Not the best customer service.
Amber I believe is the one who initially. It was horrible. She wasn't in the office at 4 pm the day I moved in. So I wasn't able to upgrade my unit to the size I needed. (Hours are 9:30-6] I wound up paying 3 admin fees. As well as rental fees on 2 units I no longer needed because she didn't close them out Friday morning when I went in. Less than 24 hours. They also kept all of this months rent when I moved out on the 7th. They took me for a total of $600.
Be careful if you rent from them. Some agents charge you for everything they can and promise you you'll get a refund. They LIE

Good place to store stuff with somewhat reasonable rates. A clean and well run facility. No basements in Florida so either downsize your extra Stuff, donate it, recycle it, or Storage it.

I have been with Public Storage a while now and if I were honest the service met the need but never was spectacular. That was unilt yesterday when I needed to upgrade to a larger unit with little turnaround time. I was going to be closing quickly on a house and only had two days off to get important items shifted where they needed to be. I called and Jasmine at the Kennedy location in Tampa was quite helpful. Additionally when I arrived she helped me as I stumbled over navigating two units. She did so in a pleasant manner and with professionlism. She mentioned her time with Public Storage as being about a year and a half I believe. Public Storage should see if she has interest in training and foster that. Her skillset and demeanor represent your company well at the front desk.

Upon arrival at the office, no-one was there, so I went to my unit. When I got there, Alicia was busy cleaning up a lot of trash that customers had left.
