I Don’t recommend this property, please see photo. They leave the A/C at 80 and regularly gets over 85. Staff have responded up to corporate standard. Goodluck I’m shopping around now and will update with info about the surrounding storage units and pricing.
I have had the necessity to need a storage unit for the past 2+ years. Over this time rates have increased although our fixed income has not. I discussed the financial hardship with Jessica and Brad at my Luther Rd. Punta Gorda FL Public Storage location. Both Jessica and Brad were very polite, respectful and caring. Due to our long term relationship they were able to work with me and waive our first late fee as well as lower our monthly rate a bit for 3 months to help us out. I truly appreciate their help in working with me and my elderly Mom. Thank you both for your compassionate kindness in doing what you could to help us and doing it in a very timely manner.

I was 1 day late. I tried to explain to her I am having some medical issues she wants 170.00 to take 1 thing out of my storage unit. It's a 55 inch TV..I also told her I don't need the unit I just want to close the acct. 1 lousy day, she doesn't care.. I can show her proof of my Drs. These people don't work with you they don't care about you, it's the green stuff...It's said the way people are so money hungry anymore..Another thing. The guy there is super nice. But don't leave a message they will Never return your call.

This review is a little late but better late than never. I met Jessica the day I signed up for a storage space. She was knowledgeable, helpful and extremely patient especially since another customer was being difficult. She kept her composure and treated the other customer and me with respect. Had to move the contents of our large business that was destroyed by Hurricane Ian to a storage facility. The manager Janice was extremely accommodating and went out of her way to help with our situation. If you are struggling after the hurricane, I suggest storing your belongings here. The facility is clean, air conditioned, and safe.

Was getting my mother set up with a unit there, April was a huge help. Got us the best deal for our situation. Normally when I go to these places people are short and make u feel rushed. April was very caring answered my questions so I felt safe with my mother's stuff.
After 2 years using PS at Luther Road we went through hurricane and lost keys and a 48 hour turnaround on leaving your facility and your DM Christaina went above and beyond to help with free packing material, lock removal and she could have not been MORE helpful we should all have employees that know the true meaning of "customer service" don't lose her .

They have been so helpful! The property manager Ashley has been so excellent! They helped me fix my rate, change units when needed, and even helped me find a dolly to use. I can't say enough about how helpful they have been! I've been here for almost 2 years, and I've had wonderful, helpful encounters every time I've gone into the office. Even after hurricane Ian, they were terrific, they had entire crews that removed all my stuff from the unit, cleaned the floors, and moved it all back for me while I was there, and I didn't have to lift a finger! It was such a relief after all the other stuff we had to deal with in the aftermath. It was so nice to have one less thing to worry about!

I have had an exceedingly overall pleasant experience with using Public Storage in a unfortunate time, when I needed to store everything I owned. The staff member Janice was always around when I need assistance and made really made the difference when it comes to customer service!!!

We had everything we owned in a unit during Ian. The place flooded. We lost furniture, art, personal mementos and clothing. They failed to notify of the flooding in a timely fashion(9 days later), mold on everything, despite paying for a climate controlled unit. Claimed they would provide cleaners and boxes. They were out of boxes. The cleaners were helpful in emptying unit, but were not there to clean moldy belongings, they mopped the unit. During clean up there were several people who had clipboards, none would admit they worked there , claimed they were volunteers. Another patron advised they were managers from other locations. It’s a shame if you. Ant admit you work for a company, I’m curious if you realized how wrong and how bad this situation is, Claimed they were giving a free month. Has not happen. This place should be closed until drainage s fixed. I would not recommend this place to anybody. If you want to overpay for storage, get no services, rent at this place,

My buddy and I were cleaning out my unit in the Florida summer so we worked up quite a sweat. My buddy went into the office to see if there was a sink we could use to fill up our empty water bottles. To our surprise Janice gave us cold waters from the fridge and we both couldn't believe it. I would highly recommend this place for your storage needs. Where we were renting a 10 x 10 climate controlled unit was getting way to expensive. Looking for a new unit we found Public storage, Luther Rd. Punta Gorda,when i arrived to get all the details and see the unit, i was met by the nicest lady Janice, she showed me the unit and gave me all the details, Janice was very thorough.The facility was so clean so we signed up for a 10x10 climate controlled unit.

My parents went to Public storage on Luther early in May looking for unit and were suggested to find good rates online to which they did then we set up online and received a call by early June that everything was set for a move in on 6/27 for 10x20 air controlled drive up unit. We arrived on 6/25 and to our surprise no reservation. The customer service agent Janice gave us customer service to see if they could explain what happened and no answer as to why our reservation was cancelled. 3 different times we spoke with Public Storage and not once were we told to come in and pay before move in to actually get unit. Janice explained everything thoroughly attempted to help us and explained new prices and that drive up units don’t have air control and that the promotion of the $1 rent was not available for this particular unit and found a different price but it was closing time so we went back next morning and find out prices changed again. Talk about a mess to be going thru day before expecting movers to gather belongings. Janice did everything to try to help us in a situation that wasn’t our fault even previous itinerary said to arrive 30min before move in to fill everything out. Janice really tried to calm the situation down and figure out options for us to make a bad situation into a pleasant one.
