Huge and vast local storage facility. Replacing the old business and storage facility, Has to be one of the biggest in the immediate area. Appears that also has boat and RV storage .

The place more than double the price in the force of a month when we tried to move out after paying our due to charge us for the current month of like $230 when we were out when we were supposed to be they just trying to mail an extra 200 something out of people that were leaving I wouldn't be surprised that the business went under we're strongly not recommend I would recommend the one by Ace Hardware in Little Road it's literally the same quality for half the price.

Mark was very helpful. We were in and out of our unit with ease during salvage from hurricane Helene.

The person that took care of us was awesome. Got what I wanted and price was reasonable. I would recommend to anyone who asks

Got the space on the 20th but hurt my back so I couldn't move in for 2-3 months per my doctor's recommendation. I canceled on the 22nd. Public Storage charged me for a FULL MONTH of rent and insurance . Come to find out they were going to charge me a full month anyway for just 10-11 days left in the month and rebill a new month on the 1st!!! There is NO disclosure as to their billing in this manner. I spoke to a manager who gave me the information to contact a district supervisor but they are insulated from the public and you only speak to people who say they are "powerless" to help you get any type of refund. They may have a great facility but their billing and procedures are less than honest. I'll never rent from them again! STAY CLEAR

Lost a customer. Asked for multiple attempts to view the unit. Agent said that was not possible, and I needed to make an appointment. Instead of making an appointment she reserved a unit in my name.

Vivi was outstanding in directing me toward securing a unit that will meet my needs and allowing a transfer from a smaller unit to save money. Mark had also helped me in the past. Best storage experience ever.

Lisa helped me with signing up for a storage unit. She was fantastic. She showed me the space and was very patient. She thoroughly explained the process. Lisa also has a wonderful smile. Staff is very courteous and kind, buildings and units are very clean, plenty of carts to easily move your stuff in or out and great security!

Unit and facilities are very clean. The unit I got was absolutely perfect for what I needed! Pam was very helpful and answered any questions I had. 10/10 recommend.

Although I have only been a customer for a short time, my experience has been very satisfying. The facility is very secure but easy access for customers. The staff is very professional. They set me up quickly and provided all information needed which allowed me to store my belongings immediately. I highly recommend this location!

Do NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Update . two conversations with the district manager of this problem and still employees do what they want and let the doors stay wide open. Already regret moving in.no soap in bathroom for days. Assoc allowed cust open all door to climate controlled. Movers moving like turtles and storage is already warm They need better mgmt. It's not that hard to enter your code to open a door or to use the app.

Pamela “saved the day”! My move took two storage units. One access code worked the other didn’t. Today we came back to finish the move at about 5 pm and again the access code would not work. We were able to speak with Pamela and she quickly and efficiently solved the issue. The staff here are incredibly friendly, helpful, and very courteous. There is no where else to store your treasures but at Public Storage, 6613 S. R. 54, New Port Richey, FL. THANKS PS LOVE YOU 😍

Management is allowing movers to leave the air conditioning.Climate doors open for hours which makes it hot inside. Is save your money going here. TERRIBLE MGNMT. Let's start with Vivian.She is very rude, disrespectful.And she definitely should not be in a manager's position.Or any position to customer service. Then we should start with bill.Thank you (not)for having the movers Leave the climate control doors wide open It seems you're more concerned about the mover's Inability to punch in a code rather than the customer's payment for their climate control. Falling right in line with very poor customer service is the lack of hand soap in the bathroom . this is been going on for 2 weeks now.Period we get the story that keeps getting stolen. You're required under Florida code to keep it in there.Go down the dollar tree and buy a big box of it. This is when checking your bathrooms on a regular basis as required by law comes into play. Obviously.The district manager is not doing his job by allowing the facility to be run down the hilt. I hope for you.I'll say that when code enforcement comes in.You can prove the soap that you bald and prove by video that you have been replacing it. Otherwise you might be seeing some fines.

1 week in. Climate controlled could be better. Employees outside on the phone joking and laughing that there's proof that some of the bait from the boxes is messed with. TOILET paper out 2 DAYS, as well as the soap . this is a health code violation and since it is also only handicapped open , it is also ADA violations,well as Noone having 2 min to put tp locked in holder. PRIORTIES ARE LACKING MAMAGEMENT and excution. Your priority should be with your manager Having these checked firstthing every morning kept full with toilet paper and if you have to have a hundred bottles of soap in storage to keep it stocked up then that is what you need to not tell customers that the soap is out. And NOT ALLOW both roles or toilet paper go out. They should be required to check the BATHROOM Every hour and a 1/2 for supplies since They don't know their management skills.

I just got an email that they are raising monthly fee from 157 to 199.68. Are you serious??? As soon as we get back to Florida, we are moving!!! You guys are bunch of criminals!! The property manager is rude, too. Never answer the phone. Bathrooms are always dirty(or locked) water not working (watch the video for yourself). When we moved in, the elevator broke so we had to carry everything through the stairs. No customer service

Excelent to keep things

I've been renting here for over 2 years with no problems. Excellent available access times even after business hours. The Manager and staff are always pleasant and happy to answer any questions.

It’s a decent place. The gate entry is easy, and I feel it’s pretty secure. The missing star for me is that the climate control units feel just barely controlled and are still pretty humid. I know it’s Florida, but still. The hallways are also extremely long and narrow and to get into my building is a very high concrete lip which is terrible for using a cart with. You have to lift the cart(if you can) to clear the lip. Seeing as the nature of storage units is hauling in a bunch of stuff via a cart, some sort of ramp should be there to get in and out. Otherwise not many complaints.

I just rented a unit at this location, Miss Vivi assisted me she was very courteous, helpful which means alot when you are stressed out with moving. Excellent customer service. Will recomend this location anytime. Thank you Miss Vivi. Maria

Terrible service no one is ever there during the Google office hours. I got off early to show up to locked doors. Had to call the door number and have been transferred twice. This is the 3rd time I’ve dealt with this.

Super helpful staff and great prices

I was en route to the location when I received a notice of auto pay, was charged for full moth, and asked about a refund, was told no. For one day, I had to pay full month and have no access to unit. This company is woke, the employees have a nasty attitude aimed at customers.

Had a totally fine experience renting accept for when I was moving out the woman at the front was extremely rude for absolutely no reason . Oh and by the way , they pro rated me with no issue on the 1st so don’t let her lie to you. Call customer service. Get a better attitude !

THE WORST storage place you can possibility put your stuff in. The managers and staff and very rude. Word of mouth is everything. Need to clean house with your employees.

Everything was great about this. Place they even let us use their hand trucks and dollies when it came time to move out..

Very poor customer service employee let another customer in and locked the door as I was walking up to the door due to issues gaining access to the unit. Called customer service and they called while the employee was taking care of the other customer and he didn’t answer. Was told the store was closed. Update employee that locked the door called at 1750 to tell me he received a call from his boss to help me get in and he told me try again another day. After explaining that I needed the window unit for ac due to my mother in law having end stage copd. Very poor customer service do not rent here try another location

Not enough carts!!!

The space is fine, but none of your online systems to complete my reservation or even to pay the bill did not work. I received a text a few minutes ago with a link to give me directions to the location but when I clicked on it, it took me to an error page. Your online technology piece needs some serious help.

Not a lot of parking for loading and unloading. Needs to have an automatic gate for exiting.

Vivi was extremely helpful with questions and concerns that I had very knowledgeable.

There is always box trucks in the way, that was not planned for in its design.

Not a good experience. The facility started construction on the back units without informing renters. I went to my storage unit this past weekend to drop a few things off and the sidewalk in front of the entry was dug up, making the unit difficult to access. In addition, insulation from the ceiling had fallen all over my items. I am planning to move my things out in a few weeks, and no one, not the staff at the facility or the district manager can tell me if I will be able to get a moving truck to the area to get my things out, making an already stressful moving day much worse. I will not use Public Storage again and would highly discourage a friend or family member from using them either.

amazing storage facility

Very easy to do an online reservation I was very impressed by that. However when I went over to look at the facility it’s totally unacceptable due to extensive renovations this cannot be easily observed from the street but as of 12-10-22 it was not possible to get a truck in there. So unless you want to carry your stuff a LONG way and store it in a facility that looks like something in a third world country, wait for the remodel to be completed. It was very easy to cancel my lease and it looks like I will be made whole but it’s a waste of my time.

Friendly staff, decent rates, indoor and protected. The doors are absolutely terrible though. The sliding latch has a tendency of getting stuck (forcing it is a pinching hazard) and the inside of the doors have these hooks that serve no purpose. You'll be able to slide it closed but it'll often catch on boxes and ESPECIALLY plastic tubs when sliding it open. Cracked one of my tubs and tore a hole in one of my boxes.

To Wendy Raymond , your absolutely correct ! The staff is RUDEI !!! public Storage on 54 does not care about there customers at All !! They will fine you as quick as they can but there elevators don’t work correctly and they blame you for it . The place is a joke and so unprofessional or Pleasant. I have to say that when I first rented my unit I had no problem at Public Storage I was getting my items out of my car and a plastic bag and 1 piece of paper fell out of my car. I was so busy attending to my items to bring up to the unit that I was planning on collecting the plastic bag and paper after I was done with emptying my car. There were 2 men next to me emptying there trucks to bring them to there units when this unbelievable horrific incident happened. The Blonde Public storage worker proceeded to come to me and ask me to pick my 3 items of trash on the ground next to my car. I proceeded to tell her that I will do so after I finish emptying my car. I was in a moving mode . Well, all of a sudden, she proceeded screaming at me and telling me.. well , I am not picking up your trash lady. PICK UP YOUR TRASH!!! I told her not to speak to me in this rude manner as I pay your salary. You have absolutely no customer service skills!! I told her that I will call corporate and report you. She told me .. “ go right ahead lady .. I DONT CARE !! So I did and filed a complaint Against at her I repeated again and told her I will do so when I am done with what I was doing !! The two men were watching this horrific incident. Needless to say I was absolutely embarrassed at the rude way she spoke to me in front of these men. I had Public Storage in Boston years ago and I never experienced anything like this whatsoever. I immediately cancelled my 2 units and happily moved to U HALL ON 19. I will never recommend PUBLIC STORAGE TO ANYONE. I have the same side unit that I had at Public Storage and I pay about $20 less .

Got stuck in there car wouldn't start

Very cheap

Been using Public storage for a month only because is was about $10 cheaper then anywhere else.. First the blue tooth system to open gate and elevator works about 2 out of every 10 uses. Next everything runs slow. I get the gate can't be but waiting 4. 5 min for an elevator that only goes two floors is extremely annoying. Lastly I get a call every month saying my auto pay did not work and my card did not go through. That if I don't pay I will incur a late fee. I immediately called the card company that says they see the transaction but was cancelled on their end... Huh? So I pay with different card. Every month I get this call and tell them there is something wrong on their end. Only thing I get told is about the late fee... Ah okay so you don't care got it. So I keep the card on auto pay to waste their time every month calling me. Then I go into the app and use the card their "auto pay" wouldn't take and pay with it. Hope this helps anyone thinking about using them. Their staff is a joke but it works for what you need I guess.

This location has a brand new building and the old building detached. There's RV overnight parking as well. The location in on SR 54 between seven springs Blvd. And Madison. Very limited parking spaces for a busy storage building.

Very nice facility. Very good service. Jasmine should be given some kind of award for superior service. She went the extra mile to help us solve a problem that was not at all the fault of Public Storage. Highly recommended.

There about three years, most of the time a construction site and difficult in and out. Now they want me to move my stuff for a new unit as they’re making all climate controlled, of course paying more so….. goodbye 👋!

I would Not recommend the public storage off 54 in New Port Richie. After 6 months of trying to reach the district mgr., I was finally able to get into my unit. They've continually had a lock on my unit and I couldn't figure out why. It was because I was late once and the put a lock on my unit. They never removed it. Th staff is rude & extremely lousy at their job. Best of luck if you MUST USE THEM!!!!

Nice and clean location but Public Storage Company does not care about costumers. After 6 months the company raised mothy rental more than half of original price. Nobody could do anything about the 50 % higher price . I had to cancel my rental and nobody was trying to stop me from terminating my agreement, nobody offered any deal just pay or leave TERRIBLE
