Miami Storage Units On U.S. Highway 1 Near Coral Gables
This south Miami Public Storage, located right off of Dixie Highway just north of Coral Gables, has a large selection of cheap self storage units for any storage need.
Less than five miles outside of downtown Miami, it's an easy location to get to, whether dropping south from Coral Way, heading east from Ponce de Leon Boulevard or north from Grand Avenue. Most of the storage units at this multi-level property are indoor, climate-controlled storage units, though there are also a number of outdoor storage units as well.
Customers with just a few small items to store can rent an individual storage locker at this location, or if they need somewhere to park a car or truck, there are also rental spaces designed for short-term or long-term vehicle storage.
Think of a 5x5 unit as an extra closet to store things in, whether it's electronics, sports equipment or bulky clothing. "I’ve been a customer at Public Storage for several years, but I’m finally moving out and can’t say I’d recommend them to anyone. I started with a manageable monthly rate of $80, but every six months, they hiked up the price significantly. Now, a few years later, I’m paying close to $300 a month – almost four times what I initially signed up for! This relentless price-gouging feels unfair and unnecessary, especially without improvements in service or added value to justify the hikes. If you’re considering storing your belongings here, beware of these escalating costs. I’ll be looking for more transparent and affordable options moving forward."

They don’t know what They are doing and customer service is at the bottom of their list of priorities.
It’s a trap. They lure you with decent prices and then they start raising prices EACH month by 20-30%, although same space in the same location is offered at often half the price. Very dishonest
I rented a space in Public storage with a descent rate at beguining, they use the offer to attract you..once you sign.and start paying, they start raising the prices month over month. Within the 1st 6 months all was Ok, after that the prices of rent started to get raised eacj month almost by 20%, now they reached more than double of what I signed for the 1st day. As a Result I'm closing my contract this month. Its outrages how they find a way to rip you off!! Dishonest and very agressive policy of pumping from you the max of Money!!! Never again!!! Very disapointing.

They increased my rent slowly and then offered me a store and offered me a credit but refund for overcharging me. The couple of dollars will cost this $50.7 Billion dollar business to fail like Blockbuster who think they are never wrong and too big to fail.
Try "Extra Space Storage" instead. They will give your money back without headaches when they are wrong.
clean, air conditioned, and the guy is nice and they have carts you can use to get stuff to the unit. The app itself is a little iffy to use but over all great.

In the beginning it was fine but 6 months in and they raised the rent and that's a dirty tactic used by these places I'm very upset because I specifically asked about rate increases and was told that they don't do that there when I signed up. Why reel customers in with the old bait and switch tactic and lies. From 118$ to 158$ and so on rates do nothing but increase.

Place is clean, climate controlled, fully gated, high security standards and exceptional customer service! I want to thank Morley (front desk) for helping open the garage space door. Someone had bumped into the door and got stuck. I went to the front desk and Morley fixed the problem in no-time.

Called the facility directly and spoke to Morley. He was amazing! Was able to get me a bigger unit at a much better rate. Would absolutely recommend this location and especially Morley!

I had a family member who had a unit at this location, and on a whim I decided to go to the front desk to speak to someone about opening up my own. Morley was professional, kind, and was frankly the sole reason I opened a unit at this location. He was knowledgeable on the pricing of various sizes, and helped guide me to choosing the right one for my needs (he was also very patient and answered my dozens of questions with a smile). Highly recommend. Morley was extremely attentive and explained in detail all of our options. He gave us a tour of the spaces and helped us realize what size was appropriate for the items we needed.
I have rented a unit 5X10 on the internet for a promotional price of $50 and when arriving they’ve tried to give me a 5X5 locker unit. Once I’ve asked to fix this they gave me the 5X10 unit for $33 extra, they gave me their word that I was about to pay $83 per month and I agree but 4 days later they charge me again $83 and sent me an email with receipt in advanced for next month for $133, IT IS $83 EXTRA OF THE ORIGINAL RATE THEY WERE PROMOTING ON THE INTERNET FOR A 5X10. It means 150% extra of the original rate. FAKE RATES to take advantage of people?

I am so happy to have this location close to me. The units are easy to access with all the new updates they have made and the areas are clean and labeled well. But to be honest I’m not one to write reviews But the attention and kindness given to me at this location doesn’t deserve to go unnoticed. Morley went above and beyond to help me. He was kind, helpful, knowledgeable and even funny. I am very thankful for him and for his assistance in making this an easy process.
Great staff who’ve been helpful. There seems to be a high turnover off staff but they must have a good training program because I’ve never had issues with anyone not knowing what to do. Morley, Maria, and Alex were most recently helpful and kind.

I’m not gonna lie—I don’t recommend Public Storage to ANYBODY even if they were the last storage unit on Earth because they take full advantage of raising your rent on you. I started at $90/mo and in 6 months they raised it to $143/mo. Go anywhere else but a Public Storage. BUT the manager here, Morley, is the best Public Storage employee I’ve ever been helped by. He was efficient and alleviated all my stress. He even helped waive my late fee. If you HAVE to store anything with Public Storage, choose this one with Morley. He deserves to work somewhere better.
