If you plan on getting a storage unit here be prepared for your belongings becoming rat food. We went to our unit to move things into our new home after staying in a hotel only to find half of our belongings (some brand new!!!) have been chewed up by rats. When I went to talk to someone about it all the response I got was them laughing and told me “okay”.

Kathleen was exceptional helping me for several days with an internet 50% off storage unit and it ended up being a big mess! She tried everything she could think of to help me and even called me one morning to make sure everything went well

Joanne was incredibly helpful. The technology on the door locks is pretty cool with Bluetooth & every access including the elevators.
I have to speak about someone who truly goes above and beyond. She is a one woman operation. Her name is Joanne and she had the best personality. See I was worried about reserving a 10x10 and it being available to me by the end of the week. Joanne always gave me different avenues to take. She always assured me that I would have the 10x10 that I needed. She would call me and check on my status and give each other updates. It was just a comfortable process all in all and I wanted to make sure it didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you Joanne for your help and thank you Public Storage for having someone like this at your facility.

Went to see to look for a storage space and noticed the building and area is secure, clean and maintained. Joanne was helpful, informative and really friendly.
I came in today, and Joanne helped me out a lot with looking for sizes for storage that I might need. I’m the perfect one and was able to make it out the same day which was a major help. She did her best to assist me as much as possible which I greatly appreciate, and would recommend to friends and family.

Public storage bought it and tried to cheat me out of my money. I had the bank help correct it. They then made it harder for me to pay the bill. They just about doubled the rent. When I got back in town, I got everything OUT of there.
I'd keep looking for a more honest business if I were you.
This facility is nicely located, easy to access and use, but don't expect any response if you raise issues about insurance. I've written twice and called and received no response after several weeks. You will be charged for insurance even if you have other insurance covering your belongings.
Update: Shortly after posting this, I received a call from the Manager Brittany clarifying the company's policy. Public Storage does permit renters to cancel their default insurance if they have confirmed that their other insurance policies (homeowner's, rental, etc.) covering personal property placed in storage. I was able to successfully cancel the default Public Storage insurance online. I appreciate Britanny's follow-up and have adjusted my rating to reflect this.
