My husband and I went to the Brandon, FL location at 1007 E Brandon Blvd to view a unit we had reserved online. The unit was what we needed and so we completed the paperwork and moved some things in right away. We were greeted and helped by a young lady who managed the property by the name of Ro. From start to finish she was so courteous, helpful and professional. She showed us the unit, did our paperwork and took time to answer any questions we had. Very patient and kind, too. We give her all 5 stars ⭐️. Thanks to Ro for making the whole process easy and seamless!!
THIS PUBLIC STORAGE ON 1007 E BRANDON BLVD IS THE WORSE PLACE AND I RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE USE THIS STORAGE IF YOU CAN FIND BETTER. MY DAUGHTER GOT A STORAGE HERE AND NOT EVEN 3 WEEKS HAVING IT THEY LEFT A NOTE ON HER STORAGE UNIT SAYING IT WAS BEING TERMINATED WITH ONLY 72 HOURS TO GET OUR STUFF OUT OR THEY THREATENED IT WOULD BE AUCTIONED OR THROWN AWAY. THEY SAID THEIR REASON WAS BECAUSE TBEY SAW HER DAD WHICH IS MY HUSBAND RECLINING IN THE RECLINER WE HAD IN THERE. THEY ASKED WAS WE LIVING IN THERE WHICH MADE NO SENSE BECAUSE ALTHOUGH WE'RE HOMELESS WE WERE LIVING OUT OF OUR CAR OVER IN THE NEXT PARKING LOT AND THEY HAVE CAMERAS SO THEY KNEW WE WERE NOT LIVING IN THAT STORAGE UNIT. WE PAID A MONTH FOR THAT UNIT AND THEY OFFERED NO COMPENSATION OR ANYTHING NO TIME TO FIND ANOTHER STORAGE PLACE OR ANYTHING. THEY ACCUSED US OF SOMETHING WE DID NOT DO AND AGAIN THEY KNOW THAT BECAUSE THEY HAVE CAMERAS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THAT PLACE. THERE WERE NO RULES SAYING WE COULDN'T SIT OR LAY BACK IN OUR UNIT WHILE WE WERE IN THERE SORTING THROUGH OUR THINGS. THEY LITERALLY STEROTYPED UD DUE TO THE FACT THAT WE WERE INDEED HOMELESS AND MADE FALSE ACCUSATIONS AGAINST US. THIS WAS THE WORSE EXPERIENCE WITH A PLACE LIKE THIS AND OUR FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PLACE WAS NON SATISFACTORY. IF I COULD RATE MINUS 0 STARS I WOULD BUT THERE IS NO OPTION. THEN ON TOP OF ALL THAT OUR GATE CODE KEPT DEACTIVATING AND HAVING TO BE REFRESHED WHILE OTHER CUSTOMERS CODES WORKED FINE EVERY TIME. THEY EVEN CUT THE HOURS OF WHEN WE COULD ENTER TELLING US WE COULD ONLY ENTER DURING OFFICE HOURS WHILE EVERYONE ELSE GET TO GO IN EVEN AFTER OFFICE HOURS. THEY ARE RUDE AND HEARTLESS AND I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN EVEN IF THEY WERE THE ONLY STORAGE PLACE.
I will need to thank Victoria for helping me out to pick the best storage and taking the time to show me multiple units and being so patient with my family. You rock Victoria

I have everything I own stored at this facility, which can be very stressful, but I recently ran into a personal issue, so I had to contact the office for assistance. I was treated so kindly, and all of the assistance I needed was handled immediately by Felicia. She was so incredibly kind and understanding about my situation. I would never store by belongings at any other facility!!! If you're wondering if this is the right place to store your belongings, I highly recommend you speak with Felicia. She is absolutely amazing!!!!

The only time you can speak to a staff is during the renting process anything after you are directed to an automated system or an app they are not available for any issues that you have so you are on your own! Severely lacking customer service skills and staff

I would give this storage facility a zero rating. The units area were disgusting, and infested with german roaches. The employees were rude, and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this place for decent people.

Hoy fui a devolver mi storage, la atencion fue fatal. Le pedi disculpa a la señora que me atendio, ya que mi ingles no es bueno, pero la actitud de ella fue terrible. No hizo ni el mas minimo esfuerzo en atenderme, me senti super mal. Su mirada y actitud era de "no me importa si no sabes ingles". Total no pude hacer nada . Cuando fui a rentar el storage, me atendio una muchacha super bien, y a pesar que no hablaba español, nos entendimos perfectamente. Soy cliente de Public Storage en varias ocasiones y nunca senti esta descriminacion hacia los latinos. Dicen que hay alguien que habla español, me pudieran informar si todavia trabaja ahi? Gracias!
Today I went to return my storage, the attention was fatal. I apologized to the lady who attended me, since my English is not good, but her attitude was terrible. She did not make even the slightest effort to attend to me, I felt super bad. Her look and attitude was "I don't care if you don't know English". I totally couldn't do anything. When I went to rent the storage, a very good girl attended me, and even though she did not speak Spanish, we understood each other perfectly. I am a client of Public Storage on several occasions and I have never felt this discrimination towards Latinos. They say that there is someone who speaks Spanish, could you tell me if she still works there? Thank you!

Air has been broken for a month. No one working there cares or has a clue when it'll be fix! New facility but not worth the money spent
Well I would have left a four or five star review, however after having moved my things out of my storage unit, at the end of May, having paid my May bill at the beginning of the month. And moved out before June, I get a bill today for another months rent, saying I have in unpaid balance of $70, even though I scheduled a move out date, and the public storage phone app I used to access the facility and pay my bill says I don't owe a bill, because I have no storage unit. But somehow they are trying to scam me into paying more money that I do not owe. The unit was left cleaned and unlocked 2 days before another months rent would be required. And they don't actually answer the phone, if they actually get back to me and remedy this, we'll see.

Just rented a unit online. No access code provided. Second day that location has had no property manager onsite.
Edit: Given access by HQ rep. Finally located and walked space only to discover access may not be reachable by moving truck. Locked fence prevents direct access but again no property manager is available to speak with about making arrangements for locked gate access.
Edit: Was finally put in touch with the property manager and while it was not optimal the access issue was resolved.
