Public Storage in Apopka offers a great selection of cheap self storage units – big and small – on the east side of Orange Blossom Trail, one mile north of State Road 414.
Directly off of U.S. Route 441 and a short drive from Interstate 4 or State Road 429 means affordable storage options are just minutes away for customers throughout Apopka, Lockhart and Forest City.

If you like slumlords, put your stuff in this storage. If you like never having any working dollies to move your stuff, store your stuff here. If you like office staff telling you 2 different things, and no one abiding by ANY of those things they told you, come on through to this place. If you like your storage rent (for the smallest space available) being raised 10 dollars every month, store your stuff here. If you like unhelpful office staff, come through. If any of these things sound like a nightmare to you, I suggest you find another place to make your storage.

Thought by keeping my stuff inside the climate controlled part would keep the bugs and rodents away but I was wrong and the insurance is worthless we have to pay 100 for the insurance claim and they will only cover 250 so it will be only a hundred and 50 dollars. Unfortunately all my medical supplies and stuff are inside.

Updated Review on 2/4/2023:
Pros:
-Renting a unit was easy enough to do online, from selecting a unit to signing the contract and making the payment.
-You can access the gates, doors, etc with an app on your phone. This is a nice feature... just make sure your phone is close to the access point.
Cons:
-They no longer offer 24/7 access, which is inconvenient for people like me that work late hours.
-You are also required to buy renters insurance when you reserve online. Be aware of that when renting, as it was an additional $15 per month in my case. You can, however, cancel the insurance if you choose to with the office.
-Access hours: the gate is locked at 9pm. They will email and message you if you are on property close to closing time. I was at the gate and exiting at EXACLY 9pm. In fact, it was still 9pm when I got to the stop light! I still got the message. This was on my first day at this location.

Manager Carl was very helpful in my transfer of units. The staff is always there to answer questions or to help. The grounds are kept clean.
A little pricey, went from $60 a month to $120 but it's better than the Christmas tree rotting in the heat of the attic. I've used them several times. I use the app for entry but some people honk at me to get out of the way. Maybe they don't know about the app.

Nothing ever works right here. The gates, the doors, and the phone app only works 50% of the time. You can see in my attached photo that the main gate has been shut down for weeks now with no sign of attempted repair. Place is run by lazy people.

Manager Coral is really respectful and helpful i highly recommend this storgae.
The local on site management team has been great. We ran into a couple issues with billing that literally took a couple months to resolve and I had to apply a bit of pressure up the food chain. In the end, the issues appear to be resolved. The one piece of advise I'd give is make sure you ask lots of questions about their billing procedures and CC policies. Especially if you use "auto pay". Area management did follow up to after resolution to make sure I was good to go. Much appreciated.
