I have never written a review like this before, but people deserve to know what they're getting into before renting from this facility.
If I could leave negative stars, I would. This is, without question, the worst business I have ever dealt with.
My experience with this facility began in October when a woman I was living with rented a storage unit in my name using her own driver's license (which is illegal, and according to PS is something they would never do, but they did). She then shoved everything I owned into a unit that was far too small, damaging many of the few belongings I had left after fleeing an abusive relationship. Those belongings represented nearly ten years of building a life from nothing, along with countless irreplaceable items belonging to my children. Most of those items were left behind when I had to flee, and so what remains in the storage unit is all i have left.
The account is still linked to her driver's license instead of mine. When I contacted customer service to fix the issue, they refused to discuss the account because my driver's license doesn't match the one on file. Despite acknowledging that the information on the account doesn't match my identity, no one has been willing to correct it. Instead, I was told to take the matter to civil court. That is an unbelievable response to what should have been a simple administrative error.
In January, a friend and I decided to rent a a new unit after seeing a promotion advertising a free second month, in hopes of correcting the license issue. That transaction should have been simple. Instead, the property manager completely mishandled the paperwork, putting the unit in my name instead of Matthew's, but having him sign for everything, taking his ID, and still putting in someone elses license number. When we pointed out the mistake, management refused to take responsibility and instead tried to blame us for their own errors.
To make matters worse, we rented that unit for $169 per month, and by April our rent had jumped to more than $250 without any warning. A nearly 50% increase in just three months is outrageous. I was at the PS on Jordan for almost 7 years and my rent barely changed, and when it did, it was after 12 months of renting.
I explained my circumstances to management. I am a single mother of two who lost her job after fleeing domestic violence. I wasn't asking for charity or special treatment. I was asking for basic competence and accountability. Instead, I was met with complete indifference.
The moment I fell behind, they scheduled my unit for auction. I had to come up with nearly $600 just to keep the few possessions I have left from being sold, and now I’m facing the same situation again over the remaining balance on this month’s bill.
For nearly seven years I rented from the Public Storage on Jordan Road and never experienced a single issue. My paperwork was never mishandled. My rent wasn’t increased by almost $100 within a matter of months. They never once locked me out of my unit for being a few weeks late. Most importantly, when problems arose, they were handled professionally.
This facility has been nothing but stress, incompetence, and a complete lack of accountability from the day I became a customer. If you’re considering renting here, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.
The public storage on Jordan Road is clean, has easier access points, there is actually someone competent in the office, and they don't treat you like the scum of the earth if your bill is late. They make you feel human, and they show nothing but understanding and compassion.
DO NOT RENT HERE. Louie might seem nice, but if you're late on your bill, he will phone you three days before Christmas, belittle you, and shame you for struggling. These people are EVIL.
Have been trying to ask when the Public Storage Castle Pines location will open and it's absolutely impossible to interact with a local human at this place. The published phone number for this location just directs you to a call center and the physical locations are locked with no one present; they just point you to the call center. I did get an alternate phone number for this location and left a VM; no call back. Tried calling about 5x before and no one ever picks up the phone. Stopped by on a Tues at 10AM to attempt to physically speak to someone - nobody there. I'll likely be taking my business to a facility that actually has humans present at their facility.
This place is clean and well monitored. I’ve seen multiple employees doing rounds. We have an indoor temp controlled unit. Louie came around, and he was very professional and polite. Using the app is easy for interior access.

The hours are posted 6AM to 9PM. I showed up at 9:30AM, no one was working, there was no indication of when/if anyone would be in office. I tried calling, left a message asking for a callback. 6+ hours later, and nothing. No call, email, text, "hey, I'll get back to you" nothing. Tried calling later. Same thing. Tried going online and accessing my account, the website hit me with "technical error, cannot log in." tried the Chat feature. "what can I help you with?" I'd like to make changes to my account. "I don't understand. Main Menu. End Chat." Tried calling the 800 number...which directed me back to the local answering machine. If it was just the lack of communication from the local spot, I'd still be annoyed, but doubt I'd be writing this. It's the fact that there was:
no one there during posted hours on a weekday
no response from the property manager
a faulty website
a faulty chat feature
a worthless 800 number
no contact information if the local office is unavailable
So why 2 stars instead of 1? The storage unit itself was fine. Ridiculous to have to enter your access code to enter AND exit. I"m just absolutely baffled that a business this big would have such an awful website and no staff onsite during business hours.

My move-out date was yesterday, and I found myself overwhelmed and unable to get everything out on time. However, they went above and beyond to accommodate my situation, ensuring I could retrieve my remaining items without incurring any extra charges for the month. Their kindness and understanding really meant a lot to me during a stressful time. This storage place literally just wants all your money. When we first started using them, our first month was $30. Then it went up to $70 a month. After 3 months, they increased the price again to $171 per month. After another few months they increased the price yet again to over $200. When we reached out to customer service, they claimed they sent us emails about all of these increases yet we never received any kind of communication from them at all. In less than a year they increased our monthly rent 3 different times. We found another storage company (extra space storage) where we have the same size unit and we are only paying $87 a month. And they are all indoors and SO much cleaner than public storage. When we moved all our stuff out the other day, every single thing was covered in dust and dirt and dead bugs. I will absolutely NEVER recommend this company to anyone that I know. What a waste of our time and money.

Both Tom and Louie have been of great help to us in securing a Public Storage unit at a Parker CO location. When we needed assistance when we moved in, Tom checked in on us and the movers. He is always available by phone or in person to help us figure any Public Storage issue, like the P S lock. It's pretty cool, and we now know to use it properly. Little things can make a big difference. Thank you Tom!
We received notice that our rate on our unit was once again increasing. We called and spoke with Tom and asked if they had a smaller unit to rent. He said we were in luck and that there were several units available. He showed us both units and gave us a quote on both which were cheaper than the one we have now. Thanks to Tom for all his help and at the end of the day gave us a great deal!
Place is always clean. Great service. Tom is the best property manager I’ve ever dealt with. Wish I can give it more than 5 stars. A+++++

We have had a 10x20 storage unit here for 4 years. It kept at a good rate with only a couple rate hikes until the last year when it increased $115 in one month. This was much higher rate than what someone new would be getting. We went and spoke with Tom and he took the $115 back off the monthly rate. Excellent customer service by him and because of him we are going to continue renting there. Thanks Tom!!!!!!

I was in the process of downsizing my 10x5 unit, and Tom showed me a couple of the available 5x5 units. I later went online to reserve the smaller unit. The next day, I received a call saying the unit I had reserved may be smaller than what I needed (a 5x4). I went into the office the next day, and Tom was able to walk me through the transfer of my 10x5 to a 5x5 and made the process very simple and So easy!! Appreciate all of Tom's help, which was always with a smile! Highly recommend this facility at 15000 S Parker Rd!! Newer, clean, and secure. Plus, easy access through the app.
I contacted this storage facility several times in regards to the outrageous rent increase in our store unit. I happen to run into the District Manager on site who even agreed about the huge increase. The District Manager promised to call back and never followed through. I guess they were too busy to make the call to their customers request. We understand prices fluctuate from time to time but we took a HUGE INCREASE in our storage unit.
Message to the DM: the next time someone contacts you multiple times you should at least make a call back. Its not only rude, but very disappointing and unprofessional.
Moved out of our unit today and Tom was absolutely amazing in answering all of our questions! He helped us finish up and let us know what to expect next. 10/10 for Tom and this storage facility.
Tom took such great care of us, I believe I asked him 300 questions and answered each with a smile. Big help with helping us get a unit. The best was coming and seeing Tom, himself power washing the building ad I pulled up. Of course I was greated with a big smile and more help from Tom! We need more Tom's!

All employees are friendly and concerned that renters are happy. Louie and Tom have been extremely helpful. Having never had a storage unit before, I did not know what to expect. Louie was very kind and patient with me explaining how the lock and unit works. He showed me how to use the APP to open the gate. Louie followed up with me the next day to be sure I was satisfied with my unit. Tom called me when I put in my notice to vacate. He wanted to be sure I was happy with my rental. The facility is clean and new. Thank you to the wonderful staff for your great customer service. Would definitely rent here again if the need arises.

I got my 5 x 5 Storage a couple of months ago I really love it is very spacious. I have never gotten a storage before so I was a little unsure of which one to get Clarissa was very helpful when I went in and got the Storage other staff was great too, Clarissa was very helpful in letting me know how to access through the app Which is really easy and I love to open the door that way. Clarissa was also very helpful when I was having trouble getting a box out of my car. I am glad that I am using Public Storage in Parker at 15000 West Parker Rd.

LOVING this place so far but it’s a shame that the first time that I asked for customer service help. I got an unbelievably rude and hostile ethnic man telling me that he’s going to put a note on my account for just wanting to see why I couldn’t get into the gate, and not even giving me helpful options as to why there could be a glitch. He has a very distinctive car like it has resin decals on it so if you see that car don’t go in and talk to him. I would say a very accusatory person, which I’m sad for him, unfortunately, he’s on the defensive as soon as you start to talk to him. But other than that so far, I am loving, storing my belongings here!!

Public Storage @ 15000 W. Parker Rd. In Parker, CO has great indoor storage units. It is safe, secure, and climate controlled. Great location and convenient access. Jesus is the new property mgr. - Great communication.
I would prefer NO STARS! I have never in my life had to repeat myself so many times. You never know who you are going to speak to you when you call this location then when they have a power outage, they don’t want to take ownership of it. My husband and I took off work to vacate our storage unit, but couldn’t get in due to the power outage, then another day we went and couldn’t get in. There always seems to be sonething. And the latest one is asking me when i will be coming! WHAT? This has been an ongoing frustration and it has cost our jobs and a rocky marriage. I certainly hope that they credit us back for at least one month for this miserable experience.

Awful experience! Rate increases almost instantly. Icy unsafe conditions on the interior roads, huge incline/decline steep roads, office was closed damaged for months, customer service with the manager and "area manager" poor! Customer service did try to help once, but failed (but they DID try). Avoid Public storage at all costs in Colorado. They locked us out on "move out day", by checking us out and removing us from the system, but we were making trips, hired movers and a moving truck from out of town, still within business hours. And worst of all our leather was damaged inside their units because it was so hot inside the unit, our electronics were damaged. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY! Pics to follow

The place is really clean, and conveniently located.
The pricing isn't stable, the price appears to go up every 3-6 months. My largest unit is changing from $260 to $324 a month. My two smaller units went from being $95 and $96 a month to $115 and $124, respectively. Not sure why or how, but the units that are $115 and $124 are the exact same size. Just make your storage short term. But beware you have to pay for the last 30 days regardless if you move out on the 2nd of month or whenever, as per the contract they don't prorate.

I was very pleased with the unit at 15000 W. Parker Road. Louie Long was great to work with and was always very friendly and helpful.
This is a.clean and out of the way storage location. Lewis at the front desk was very helpful. I took one star because the public storage app doesn't always work. It using USB to connect to the gate. Which is fine, but it doesn't always connect. So you have to make sure you have that long code you get to open the gate. The prices for the storage are fine, but you want to make sure you get one on-line to get any deals. If you just show up, you'll be paying full price. Also if you do it online you can fill out all your information instead of wasting your time at the counter, which can take forever if their computer is having problems.
Met someone there that is using the storeage to buy a piece of furniture. Looks very clean and well maintained.

I used this location for temporary storage for my recent move. The unit size was perfect, the facility was clean, access was easy via the app, and Louie answered all my questions & took care of my needs each Sunday when I stopped by.
I needed storage asap for our move from California to Colorado and Eric and Luis were very helpful and courteous. When I only needed 1 of the 2 storage units Luis recognized it and modified my account the same day. I highly recommend Public Storage located at 15000 W Parker Road in Parker Colorado.

Update 5 months later: Just moved out of the units and it was an easy process. I "moved out" on the app and just stopped by the office to finalize it. Took less than 5 minutes.

I stopped in today with many asks and I was so relieved to have Louie there to help. He was so very patient with me and went out of his way to ease my complicated situation with my out of state move. I don’t understand the pricing being different online rather than in person, among other things, so I couldn’t give five stars. However, Louie gets 10 stars and I was very fortunate to have him help me! Public Storage is lucky to have him!

Nice new clean facility. Three stars due to pricing scheme. They get you in at a reasonable rate and then raise fees substantial (20%) a few months later. I would recommend trying to find somewhere that is more honest about their prices.

Yet another price hike! They are now charging 31% more than when I signed up last year. Rather surprising seeing that there are still many unrented units. Dropping review to two stars and looking for a new storage facility.
