My bill was 59. When I first came here. Now I have to pay 73 dollars. I have a 5×5 it went for an extra 20 dollars. I was told you have pay for the extras . I'm never. Even so upset about this. As this is so unfair. Fir a small storage unit. Trying to hold mt things, that are mine. To bad. Robbed

I have been using this storage facility for about the past six months. Tom and the staff have been nothing but helpful in my transition into my new place. Aug 2024 Cora was super helpful both on the phone and in person when I needed to discuss transferring to a smaller unit. I am still very pleased with this storage facility. The location is great and very clean. The reason for the low rating is the issue with increases they are putting on my unit. Started at $157, went to $186 and now they are telling me it will go to $247. This is for a 10'x15' spot. We are set up on autopay so payments are always on time. Customer service told me it's due to supply and demand but I can get the same size unit in the same location right now for $143?? Customer Service says per the contract they can raise the amount to whatever they want and there is no set amount they can charge. I know they can raise it but this is ridiculous, we haven't had the space for even a year yet.

Really great experience!! Holly and other staff members were so nice and easy to work with. The center is clean, kept-up, and in a quiet area, so I always felt safe accessing the unit. Monthly pricing was very fair and consistent. Storing things here made a big move much less stressful!

Holly at the Northgate Dr Public Storage was accommodating and pleasant. The facilities are clean. The parking lot is clean. The app is great for move ins. I had my Pod delivered there and there was enough space for unloading. The hours are reasonable. The sign up process was swift. My reservation expired, but it was no big deal. Holly made it right and honored the price of the reservation. I recommend this facility.

An absolute parasite of a company. They raise your rates just before your next payment, they offer little to no assistance, they over-work one poor person, it's an absolute trash bin and their facility is gross at best.

We just completed our checkout process today with Bryan and he was outstanding! We had many questions and he was patient and went above and beyond to make sure we got all taken care of. The facility was clean and the process was easy. A coworker or manager Clarissa(sorry if the name is wrong) was also so helpful and kind. Overall, we are pleased we went with Public storage and are grateful Bryan was our assisting agent!

After having the storage for so long and always paying on time, when turning in the storage unit on the 1st of April, my friend still got charged $675.00 for using her code 1 time to clean the storage. On top of all that, we found mice droppings in the furniture. She was prorated when she got the storage and charged $675.00 for ten minutes... this sure is unfair to a senior citizen who lives off of SSI as her total income. Be careful of this place you might be paying a FULL month's rent for 10 minutes.

EDIT: Want to mention the new manager, Holly, was excellent to work with. Just needed to chg units due to increase in needed space and my online discount expired. Holly made this move even better than the last one. She's a true professional and very accommodating where possible, and easy to work with. A few requests I made, she couldn't fulfill due to company policy but even then was very explanatory so I understood completely. They've always been a tremendous help. Friendly, professional staff and clean facilities.

It is quite infuriating when you go to a business during staff hours and the doors are locked and there is no one at the front desk. I waited outside for ten minutes and called the phone number for the facility with no answer. This is a poor way to run a business. If a company cannot afford to have an employee sitting at the front desk at all times during staffed hours, then the company cannot provide quality service. It is understandable if only one manager can work at a time, but it is not difficult or expensive to hire a high school or college student to answer the phones and greet customers during advertised staff hours. Very disappointing.

Decent price, clean facility, I trust my stuff here. However, when I got my first storage unit here they were 24/7 with access code, and while doing a move recently, they had restricted hours... which was a problem as I was relying on the 24/7 access. Not really happy to know this changed happened without being notified. Edit to add (causing downgrade from 3/5 to 1/5): Last night I had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform a religious rite of substantial meaning and importance around 8pm. I immediately left downtown for this location but due to weather and traffic, made it at 2104 (9:04pm). Access was already closed. I met a father who was absolutely panicked because his daughter was inside, did not have the key to their storage unit to lock up, and had left her phone with her dad. Attempts to get emergency assistance from the customer service line failed. Result, I have lost a chance for a ritual context that I will never again even possibly experience (it involves a first day of a project sort of thing). A family had to leave their belongings around their storage unit, and their unit unlocked. I will be moving my stuff out of here at my earliest ability. It is absolutely unconscionable what I, that father, and that daughter experienced. I was denied access to my property when I desperately, time-critically, needed access. They had to leave their property exposed and vulnerable. Downgrading to one star until/unless this place goes back to 24/7. If it does, I go back up to 5 stars because otherwise this place is great - good staff, generally clean, feels secure enough for most household needs, and the guy who calls me to gently remind me about due dates when I forget, Scott (who I think is the owner), is genuinely great to work with if you treat him with some basic respect and friendliness.

Elevator breaks frequently. No, or VERY limited (as in one)hand cart(s) available to move items to and from.

5x10 went from $29/month directly to $84 after 6 months. Edit: after promising to look into it in their reply below, my rate was raised to $98/month.

We moved out after renting for 1 1/2 yrs. Jeremy was extremely helpful finalizing everything for us to have a very smooth close out on the storage unit. Definitely would rent here again.

Louie went above and beyond assisting me to rent and move into a unit at the Northgate facility. He single-handedly turned a stressful situation into a blessing. His management skills and compassionate personality helped me to feel reassured and taken care of. My whole move in experience has been great. Thank you Louie and Public Storage!

Would highly recommend this location! Laura was super friendly and got us checked in really quick and painlessly...Thanks Laura and Public Storage!! Update...the property management notified me the other day that the lock on my unit was cut. They had already secured my unit by the time we spoke. It took me a couple days to make it out to see if anything was missing... which nothing was taken from me. When I got there they had already identified the individual and recovered other property that was taken from others..You guys are rock stars!!

I had a great experience here last week. In reorganizing my storage unit, I came across a tall nylon camping tent that was given to me and was in a flat, round zippered bag. I decided that I would never use it but, before I put it up for sale or gave it away, I made the mistake of opening it up to see what it looked like ..... BIG MISTAKE :-) ..... I then tried for approximately 45 minutes to follow the instructions and get it refolded and back into the storage bag. I was so frustrated and almost in tears, when Laura, who works in the office, came around the corner. She saw my anxiety and offered to help figure it out, so I took the tent down to the office and both Laura and Louie and I spent another 30 minutes trying to figure it out and finally accomplished the task. These employees are AWESOME and I very much appreciated their help!!!!!

I have considered moving because I need access to my unit past the hours we're allowed in, but so far I've stayed for 5 reasons: Jennifer, Laura, Jeremy, Louie and how clean the facility is kept. I am a business owner who rents long term and am in and out several times a week. I can't say enough good about each of one of them. They are all professional, but also personable. In a world where most businesses are struggling to find good employees, this facility has assembled an exceptional team, and yes, I'm also impressed with how clean the facility is kept. I do have one issue and unfortunately, the people mentioned above can't control this. I have been here since 2019 and now have two units. I think the employees would all agree I am a very good tenant. Yet, the management raises rates at least once a year. They don't see to care how long a tenant has been there helping to keep the lights on. You would think they would want to keep the loyal, good tenants. It's not like we aren't already paying what they're worth. No one can give an explanation that makes sense to me. Sadly, it feels like nothing but greed to me. The parking lot is also incredibly small especially for a facility of this size. Of course, no one working for the company can change that, but it is difficult when a full size moving van takes up half the lot for hours at a time. Get there early or closer to closing time to avoid this hassle, and weekends are obviously the busiest. So plan ahead, and if you have time stop and get to know the team. They. Are. Awesome.

I’ve had a great experience storing my things here at this Public Storage location for the past few months. The facility is always clean with easy access. Plenty of parking. I would especially like to thank both Jeramy and Laura for making my experience here pleasurable. They are always kind, curtious, and helpful. Thanks Jeramy/Laura! You guys are awesome.

Firstly, it's always fun to get a text, call or email from the storage facility you pay to store your items saying that you made a visit too close to closing time. What's wrong with showing up 40 minutes before closing time and leaving 15 minutes before they actually close? If you're open, then you are open. Don't pester paying customers about a problem that doesn't exist. Secondly, the parking lot is far too small for the amount of traffic/movers that show up and block half the lot just to make their unloading/loading easier. This brings up another problem: there are only 5-6 moving carts and movers will take ALL of them or regular customers will make off with them. Very frustrating given you need one to move anything big since the best priced units are in the farthest away and most obscure locations. Lastly, Public Storage has raised the price on all my units several times within the last year. I'm borderline paying double now what was originally agreed upon. They did this to me at another Public Storage elsewhere more than once as well. You guys are seriously working on pushing away yet another customer.

This place and staff were always great during my couple years needing a small storage unit. Particularly at the end, Laura was super helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Great location.

Jeremy was wonderful during check in. He was friendly and very helpful with the whole process.Good to see there are those who do a great job and know their stuff. The one thing we were not happy with was the interior size of the unit. It's advertised as a 10x15 but the size is more like 9x13. We needed every square inch so it was tougher to make that size work.

I have been with this property for nearly 4 years and absolutly no dissapointments whatsoever. The facility is clean and the security is tight- good job team! I am somewhat dissapointed that the corporate group punishes their loyal customers with regular rate increases that go way beyong the entry price, but Jeremy at the front desk went to battle for us and he was able to get this issue rersolved- thanks Jeremy, and thanks for the professionalism! It's because of the service we receive from Jeremy and his co-workers why we stay loyal to this facility!

This site was Incredibly hospitable and accommodating! Laura provided service above and beyond expectations. She has given me the Peace of mind I wanted while storing my entire life's possessions during the time my house is being built.

The entire staff at this location was very helpful but we can't say enough about Laura and how she was so professional, kind and helpful during the time we had two storage units here. The facility itself is VERY clean and we would not hesitate to utilize this location again or recommend it to anyone else. Thank you Laura! You were a GREAT help!! John & Teri
