* Im telling you, all the good reviews are very old or wrote by them and their friends. These people are scam, artists, and they are the worst people to work with, for anything!!* This was the worst experience I've ever had renting a unit to store my things. Started with the initial move in, when one of the days I was moving all my things in I was 2 minutes leaving late, and the next day I was 20 minutes late leaving. I was told that they were going to cancel my in contract with them and I would have, until the end of the month to move my things out, mind you I had just moved all my stuff in. All for leaving a little bit late. I was able to beg them to allow me to keep my things there still and I was constantly being harassed by one of the workers. Every time she saw me pull in, she would watch me like I was going to steal something. When they tell you climate controlled, I was told they mean "furnace". Anywhere in the building is temperatures hotter then able to handle during anytime of the summer days. I'm not sure about the winter, but the summertime is miserable. It made me absolutely hate my things and I started giving them all away because I couldn't even stand going through my unit to see what I needed or didn't need. Then they lock you out of accessing the property, if you are only 5 days late on payment, which is fine. I get that. but, when I am up-to-date on my payment they will play games with you and they will lock you out of the facility saying that your trying to access it after hours, right? When, in fact, it was only 730pm (they allow access till 9pm) I could not go to my unit that night when I really needed some things out of it. There is never anyone on the property and forget trying to reach anyone anywhere else after hours or if no one is there during normal business hours, which happens allot. And the worst of all is the price increases. I rented a unit at $165 a month and now they are moving it up $230 a month. Well, I'm sorry, but that furnace is not worth $10 .Let alone $230. I will be moving my stuff out of that unit, and I will be so glad when i'm gone. That whole place has been so miserable to me that I have given up even caring about any of my personal belongings any longer and just want to get rid of it all and start over because I refuse to pay for a facility to lock me out when I need my stuff and play power trips on top of the cost raising. Save yourself the trouble and find anywhere else to rent from, this place is miserable. Im worried they will see this before I'm gone and not give me access to the property like they have over and over. I should have moved out when they wanted to end my contract and I would have saved myself so much trouble

BEWARE: THE PRICE WILL NEARLY DOUBLE AFTER 1 OR 2 MONTHS. This storage facility will tell you that your unit will only cost 'X' amount, but after 1 or 2 months, they will nearly double that cost. I'm now on my 3rd unit with this company 2nd unit at this location, and the price they tell you when you purchase the unit IS NOT WHAT YOU'LL BE PAYING. The price will go up and by A LOT. It's a scam because no one wants to move their stuff once they are in the unit. Therefore, they've got you sucked in and will not negotiate the cost after they increase it. Example: my 1st unit $119 a month 2 months later $240. 2nd unit $270 a month 1 month later $442. My 3rd unit i paid 3 months in advance $140×3 $420. The 1st month after my pre-pay was $240. That price they advertise is NOT what you're going to pay.

Great site. Yet started at 170 a month a year ago and in 6 months my bill was $300 a month. I understood there would be slight increases but double the cost? Please do not setting up automatic payment if your a 6 or 12 month account reviewer.

Clean, online setup is nice. A little miffed that when I gave notice on the unit, they told me the 29th would be my move out, as printed on the postcard they sent me. But then they put me down for a move out the day before, the 28th. Luckily, I checked the app and noticed the misinformation, and was able to move out a day early.

I consistently find Trevor and Jeremy very accommodating and professional as we conduct business together. They answer all questions and make it a pleasure to use Extra Space Storage as a trusted place to store my belongings. They keep up with any required maintenance, thus the property looks very clean and well organized. I feel my belongings are safe and I feel safe when using that facility. Thank you! My things were kept safe and secure for several months over the winter with no water damage. All the units are behind a locked gate with personal entry codes, we were able to get a 20 foot U-Haul into and out of the area (granted I had a unit close to the entry gate, but we had to turn it 180 degrees inside the complex), and the office staff are very helpful!

Facility is very clean and well laid out. I felt my items were safe and secure. The office was very helpful. Snow removal was never an issue. I give it an A+++

Extra space storage 1819 Nelson road are fantastic people they care about you and your belongings they were very fast at getting us into a unit. Extra cool the manager stopped by as we were unloading and asked us if we needed anything awesome people I suggest renting from them!!

Storage unit was clean, easy to access and absolutely perfect size. The service was great, they worked with the moving company to coordinate getting a semi-truck in to make unloading easier and saved me money as we didn't need to secure a smaller truck.

I needed a larger unit here and I was able to get one very easily. The place is very clean and well maintained. I know that my belongings are secure here. The guys who work here are very good at keeping everything in order. It’s nice not to worry about anything happening to my property during the time I need to store it. Definitely 5stars for the ease and peace provided.
