Josephine made renting a storage space so easy. She is extremely knowledgeable and was great to work with. I suggest 130 Landing Rd in Novato Ca is the best for storage.

This place is a 5 star storage facility. Very nice employees and clean and safe. Upon my exit Josephine was very helpful and considerate. I would definitely rent from them again in the future. Thr initial person who rented the space I forget her name but she was bomb as well!

Josephine and other staff are great but Public storage is a rip off organization. They raised my monthly rent after 6 months in a unit by $30 and require insurance with a company (Sedgewick) that doesnt deliver on claims. My first unit ended up with water seepage leading to a foul stench and mold and ruined personal items. The back buildings are adjacent to a wetland! Josie found me an alternate unit in a more controlled building (a) and helped file a claim. That was in March and it is now Sept and nada from the insurers but a run around and no return of calls or messages. It is a scam sham!

She’s friendly and keeps the facility clean. She should be running the company because she understands the needs of customers and how to maintain a well organized location. However, beware of the Public Storage corporate side. My original rental rate has increased by $60+ every six months.

I had a very positive experience working with Anselmo at the Landing court Public Storage. There was an issue with my reservation where the unit I had reserved was no longer available upon check in. Anselmo made sure to resolve the situation by setting me up with another unit which was very relieving. There’s always the possibly of something going wrong with any system and my experience of being taken care of here made all the difference. I’m happily storaging at this location and recommend it to others for the great service provided. Thanks Anselmo!

Hi I was greatly impressed with property manager Josephine. She was very attentive, helped me with my first day, changing the day of my moving in, showing everything. She’s very professional, friendly, very nice person. The size of my unit is great , easy to access too, even thou is second floor. Recommend public storage.
We had such a pleasant experience with the manager of this location, Josephine! I found the unit I was interested in online and within an hour of submitting a hold request, I got a call from Josephine offering her support and sharing next steps. 1 hour later, my dad and I are touring all of her available units and I signed the lease. Josephine is patient, knowledgeable and so kind. She really looked out for my best interests and did not mind waiting while I decided which unit I wanted to go with - no pressure at all. It makes me feel better knowing that she manages the building where I will be keeping my stuff. :)

I’ve been renting with Public Storage for over a year now and have switched units during this period, due to changes , in regards to storage space needed, and every time I needed any kind of assistance from the office, they provided me with a stellar service! I have nothing but positive things to say about this place! I had the pleasure to be assisted by the property manager, Josephine from the very beginning. Not only she’s a very sweet and kind person, but extremely knowledgeable and professional! She handles right away, any concern or issues you may have! I also appreciate to watch her walking around the property always hands on and making sure everything is running the way it’s supposed to, as well as enforcing the rules, making sure everyone has a good experience while in there. The place is always clean and well maintained. Also they have a very straightforward App, where you can manage your account, making any transaction very smooth and simple. And if you ever have questions or concerns, the manager and costumer service are very responsive.

This facility is clean and well maintained. Access with your code using the key pad is easy. The building feels secure and the lighting is good. We had a question about our unit and the property manager (Josephine) was friendly and professional when helping us.

Always friendly, clear with instructions, willing to solve issues, finds an orange cart( by the way they only have 2 for this oversized facility) and works out customers sudden price hikes!

I have my storage for about a year and a half and I have to say since Josephine became the manager, the experience has been great with her. She is very friendly and professional, always take a few minutes to say hi and have a conversation. The site is very well kept and secure. Josephine is also very helpful.
I wrote only 4 stars because Public Storage has increased already twice my rental and the second time the raise was a bit more than $100 more. It looks like they are doing that every 6 months, nothing to do with Josephine who deserves 5 stars and I really hope her management will change this policy.

As for the site, giving minus one star because: 1) The site however had no carts in the outlying facility where my unit was at; I'm glad I have a small industrial dolly--I've learned you need to have one to protect your physical safety when moving boxes about and in this case, it was a necessity. 2) Not sure about security cameras, either. I didn't have a problem. 3) You need to have the Public Storage lock to match their unit lock system. Not a good investment unless you plan on keeping the unit for a long time.
Otherwise, overall, it was a good experience.
Note, pallets are always a good idea, as I learned the hard way in another storage facility, especially if it's ground floor. But always a good idea nevertheless.
I rented a unit at Public Storage in Novato recently and had the pleasure of meeting the manager Josephine. She was a tremendous help in getting me set up for moving in, from opening my account at the office to showing me to my new unit. We visited this public storage place ( 130 landing ct Novato) to check out the storage space and the manger Josephine was very helpful and kind to show us the place. Although she knew that we will not rent from this place and we are doing to rent from San Mateo public storage.

I recieved a call from Josephine in response to a reservation I'd made online late one evening. She called the following morning, even though it was a holiday, and arranged a time to meet me the following day to show me the the unit and the surrounding facilities. I arrived and found Josephine to be an absolute delight! She was so friendly and helpful, and I was very impressed with how meticulously maintained the property was; from the surrounding grounds, the storage buildings and units, and the rental office. Everything was neat and tidy and looked virtually new...far beyond my expectations based on previous experiences with storage facilities. Josephine answered all of my questions and made the rental process fast and easy.

I’m editing my review to reflect my recent experience on January 6th, 2023.
I’m keeping my review of my experience with Josie, as she was extremely helpful and courteous during the events that transpired.
I arrived to move out of my storage unit on January 6th to find my mattress, headboard, couch, and numerous pieces of artwork completely damaged by recent weather events. It is clear from the water damage on the inside of my unit that water had seeped up from the ground and left wall, and despite my belongings being wrapped in plastic, were either moldy or completely soaked. I had to throw out my mattress and headboard, and spent the rest of the day hand drying my couch and artwork. There were sandbags present at the door closest to my storage unit, which indicates to me that there was an awareness of the presence of water, but the property did not alert me to the possibility of water being present in my unit. Redesign action to the back portion of the storage building to accommodate proper drainage and prevent water ponding should be taken to ensure no future customers deal with this situation.

She ensured I had all the information I needed to move out and made sure my experience with Public Storage was to my liking and satisfaction. Overall great experience with this location and business.

Una at Public Storage in Novato, CA is incredible! She is a true professional, yet simultaneously, she is friendly, courteous and incredibly helpful. As someone who has worked in customer service and as an executive recruiter for decades, I have found this combination to be quite rare. It is a very fine line to walk... if one is too professional they can come across as cold and uncaring, if one is too friendly, their approach can land as inappropriate. Una balances all of this flawlessly! Plus, she goes that extra mile to provide me and others with exceptional service; all while ensuring she is directly aligned with Public Storage's policies and procedures. As a customer (and let's be real, regardless of the scenario, moving is stressful!), Una made my experience a true cakewalk! Novato’s 130 LANDING CT is THE LOCATION for all your storage needs! Staffed with knowledgeable & personable ladies “Kenya & Ella” (sp?), viewing & signing up for a unit was effortless and efficient. The property is secure, clean, well manicured and EZ to access… and located on a non-busy road off of Redwood Blvd in central Novato. Been in real estate for over 25 years … this location is highly recommended for all the reasons above and for their fair and reasonable prices… with all sorts of sizes and conveniences and locations to choose from.
