These people are not professional!
When there on site you can never find them for assistance & the indoor bathroom is always out of service.
Would give them 0 stars but had to do one to make a review. Avoid! They have rats. And I see no methods of trying to prevent them. No rat traps or nothing. They also raise their prices like crazy. Was paying a little over 100 when I first got the unit, now its a 178. I suggest looking elsewhere.
I don't recommend this storage facility. This place is full of rats and it smells terrible. There are rat feces in every hallway. An auction buyer walked away from a unit he won because everything was covered in rat feces and urine. There was even a dead rat in there. He was refused a refund because he bought "as is". The pictures he showed me did not show the rat feces or dead rat. The property managers are rude. Maybe they should spend more time cleaning instead of sitting in the office or outside smoking. I asked to speak to her boss about this and she said they weren't allowed to give out his information because upper management has known about this problem for the past 2 years and he doesn't care. Stay away if you value your belongings

I regret storing my stuff here. It is infested with rats!!!!! All of my stuff was covered in rat feces and urine. There was even a huge dead rat in my mattress!! The property managers were very rude when we complained. I do not recommend this company!

I used the app to rent online since I am in another state and my friend needed to put some stuff in storage for me. It was super easy to do. App is easy to navigate and my friend had no issues loading the storage shed for me. Rates were great. I never spoke with a live person or visited the property so I can’t give any review on that. But they do have a very easy to use app.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Storage facility was well-maintained. They, however, could not provide assurance that space rental fee would remain relatively stable even for a short period of time.

The manager and the black lady at Fresno Public Storage I dealt with were professional and very nice. I cannot remember the lady's name I interacted with at the storage units in Fresno, when I closed my unit down. All I can describe is an attractive, older, black lady...was so nice and professional...the manager was also a pleasure...I was not in the best of moods when I met the manager Shirley, but she remained professional throughout our conversation..and I appreciate her for that...

It's nice it has the option to have a outside storage or inside climate control storage but inside the climate controlled building it's Hella scarey being in there the lights are controlled by movement so the rest of the storage facility is dark.. but that's not the reason for my rating THE PLACE HAS A BAD RAT infestation 3 different customers there told me they are switching storages because Because either there stuff Got ruined by the rats.Or they have found dead ones in their storage.
if you look up-and-down the aisles, you will find the feces of them.And I also found a dead one In their parking lot , also , when I was using their Bathroom i seen a cockroach and the manager is well-known of the problem.The only thing she could suggest is to file a Complaint to my insurance company which I got it from them.And they only give you $250 for Vermin damage.. and the place stinks so bad like rat Feces The manager also told me that there is about ten people in a day that comeing in complaining or that are leaving and switching storages.. I would think that they would give the customers a discount for the inconvenience.But they don't.They don't even inform new customers of the problem..The manager is really nice though.She explained to me that the field across the street When the farmers water the field the rats go to the storage and other buildings even the post office across the street.. my advice don't go there

I helped my friend empty her unit, and all of her belongings were damaged by rat feces, urine, dead rats, and bite marks.
The Property manager is rude and told us that she stored at her own risk (it’s in the contract)? They make you get insurance but it will only cover damages up to $250 for damages by rats. That won’t replace what she lost.
The property manager gave us a phone number for the District Manager, but he does not return calls.
I don't recommend this place.
I’ve been renting since 2022! Move out date January 2024. They stated I had a lock on my storage after move out charged me another 2 months ($400+) I’ve been trying to reach them for my refund they do not answer & called me back one time at inconvenient time (PEOPLE HAVE JOBS!) I’ve contacted customer support they were useless they said I accessed the building and that “continues my rent” I accessed the building to take a picture of the storage with NO LOCK! Since no one is able to help! I took it upon my self to get some proof!!!! Beware of the scams they are pulling on people here if you move in make sure to take pictures of the unit being evacuated with no locks etc!!!!!! Because they will lie & continue to take your money! This place is disgusting ! Rat infested! I had rat poop & urine all over my stored items they chewed up everything! Avoid renting this trash place if you can!

Rat infested & no accessible property manager. I had no food in my storage unit, yet rat droppings were on some of my belongings. Moved out last week and have yet to get ahold of anybody. Unless you have no questions, don’t care about the items being stored, and use the public storage app exclusively I wouldn’t recommend this storage facility.

Recently rented a storage unit here and can't believe how hard it is to get ahold of someone here. We came here twice to pay our bill, left messages and no one was here during business hours, which aren't even on the door and no one has called us back. After only being here a month we will be taking our business elsewhere. Would like to also mention the rat/mouse infestation that is here. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Norma & Donna were extremely helpful with 2 issues I had today and completely understood my concerns and took care of me and the situations.
Warning, do not use this storage facility, please save yourself the hassle and look for another storage company.
My family from Los Angeles went to Modesto to empty out the storage unit to only find everything covered with rat feces. We will not be taking our stuff back home, everything will have to be thrown away since it is not safe or usable anymore.
Personnel is also rude, the property manager Norma did not want to assume responsibility. Clearly there wasn't food in our storage unit. She states that other people have food in their storage unit, so save yourself time and find somewhere else to store your belongings.
We will have to travel back to Modesto in order to meet with the insurance claim adjuster to determine the loss- totally unnecessary.
Also, management please provide training to your employee Norma. She was rude and lacks customer service skills. My parents do not speak English and Norma mockingly was making fun of that.

It would have been five stars if I did not encounter Norma. That lady was rude, yelling and was very unprofessional and for that reason I will never be returning back to that location because of her. She drives your customers away. My family will also be vacating because of her. She deserves to be fired!

Avoid at all costs! Not only do they keep increasing prices on your unit once you store your items. Come back to storage and find out they have a rat/mouse infestation! My item have rat droppings all over them, items have chewed through. As soon as I can am closing my storage and getting all my stuff out of there!! Again avoid at all costs! Unless u don't care about your belongings!

Opening a storage unit at public storage was by far the easiest process to do. Norma in the front office is so helpful with a friendly attitude. I mistakenly forgot to lock up my unit and she made sure to give me a call and let me know she secured my unit and my belongings. Very appreciative of her help.

Rebekah, Norma, & Kim are all great workers and have real integrity when it comes to their customers. They are the only beating heart of a stigmatized corporation. I feel for these women who have to brave face & maintain control against the absurd odds that management won't lift a finger to help. Rat infestation, break-ins, lack of security.. budgets so low, they have to buy out of their own paycheck to help better their work environment. I would never make business in the Stanislaus county with Public Storage, but these women are what kept me from rating even lesser. Thank you for your hard work, ladies. Clean property but not a fan of the people in the office. They’re almost impossible to get ahold of, but they sure will call you assuming you didn’t use your own access code to get in the gate. My mom had her own unit and always used the app to open the gate/doors and never got called. Didn’t like how the phone call started with her assuming I got through the gate without using my own personal access information. What’s the purpose of having the app option if we’re going to get accused of not using my own information? Glad I only need to rent here for a short time.

Staff is amazing. Only thing is I've never gotten a storage before so I was unaware about them automatically taking prorated amount out of my account so that was a shock but other than that, super clean and my space is right in front so works perfectly for me.

Finally got smart here. Every other storage was full!! Crazy!! Thanks to here, got in with $1.00 PLUS the mandatory lock at $20.00...you can change that crazy long auto pass code tho!! The only problem I have is the way they price the units...it's like a spin on the wheel. I got a 10x10 for $98.00. Good price...BUT...my friend got the same size on the same row, just a few away from mine, but is paying $120.00. Great if in an emergency move out, great price online IF you are lucky, employees are very helpful. Not so great on price practices AND I FORGOT...5 stars if it was open 24 hours...they lock you out (or in) at 10 pm...
