Highland Park Storage Units Near the 110 Freeway
Storage units in Los Angeles' Highland Park neighborhood are located just off the Avenue 43 exit of the 110 between Avenues 41 and 42. I had an awful experience at this location. I reserved a storage unit online, paid my deposit, and scheduled a move-in for January 10th. On the morning of my move, I received a text saying my unit was ready, but when I tried to access it through the app, my access code request was denied due to an alleged overdue payment—despite having received a receipt for my first month’s rent earlier that day that went through. I repeatedly called the location, but no one answered. I even called the corporate office and they were unable to help me in any way. The movers arrived with a full truck, during normal office hours, and we waited for hours at the location for someone to show up or answer our calls. Eventually, the movers had to unload my belongings outside my partners house nearby since I couldn’t access my storage unit. I finally received a missed call from them seven hours later, and when I called them back they didn’t respond. This whole experience is incredibly frustrating. I still don’t have access to my unit. I would not recommend this place.
2 1/2 years later and the manager Pablo hasn’t changed. He continues to be amazing. Highly recommend this property. Just one thing, the rent keeps getting higher but I know it’s not because of him.

What's in a storage. Clean , some time you can find a cart. But my rent just went up by 36% and only in six months paying 300 for 10x10 will be moving out soon. Can't see paying 36% every six months.

hours are too short, especially on weekends. Recently, I got in the gate before 5 in order to get a much needed item for work but because of issues with the app not triggering the door lock properly, when I finally alternatively entered my code in the door it was now 15 seconds after closing time and it wouldn’t let me in. Worst part is that the employee made a beeline out of the office right at 5 and wouldn’t help me. As I was leaving the gate wouldn’t open because it’s past closing (2 mins past). The number in the app for “gate assistance” asks for your number on file, so I type it in and it hangs up on me. Every time. My car was stuck in the lot overnight, resulting in missing a much needed job. Thanks public storage.
No lights in the units (which is crazy for how much they charge)

What can I say? I come here to pay and the manager Pablo is always helpful and kind.
Always friendly, very clean. My only complaint is the hours that you can access the units. I am a travel nurse and I flew to clean out my unit since I wouldn't be back for a while. You have to be out by 6. I work nights so I sleep during the day. It may for for safety reasons, but the property is lit and locked.

Quiet clean place
Fabiana was so helpful. She helped me vacate from the space and made everything go smoothly as possible. This is not normally the level of customer service I’ve received here in the past. With rules being applied very rigidly. But Fabiana was really flexible. She gave me lots of options to make things easier for my move out and helped me get into my locker when I was locked out. But just generally my experience was made so much easier by her attentiveness. They should be paying her way more!!
Just wanted to share a short thought about this storage location. Pablo is an awesome guy. He's got a positive attitude and provides excellent customer service. One thing to note, insurance is mandatory at this location. So be prepared to pay the extra fee:)

the best and safest public storage I have ever rented. Everything is super easy and went as planned. Love the extra security of entering the building and elevator. Stores all my belongings here for over 7 months untouched and all were in great condition.
