Very clean property. Thank you
the worst of places, they are expert thieves with the late fee on the last day of the month, they close the offices so you don't pay! and then they blame you for not having a credit card. And the best thing is you call customer service and they tell you that you can go to another storage to pay, but when you arrive they are all closed and then you call and ask them to give you an address so that they are sure that the office is open to pay and they say that they cannot give you that information.
Daisy was extremely helpful in finding a storage unit that met our needs and at the best monthly cost. She is an excellent resource. We appreciated her tremendously.

I used this location for storage while out of state. I received amazing service from Shay, who helped me with questions I had during my tenure and also as I prepared to move out. She went above and beyond during a stressful time when I was trying to coordinate details for my move which I was flying in for. If she's any reflection of the overall staff, you're in great hands. I actually asked her where to leave a 5-star review, she didn't prompt me.
One note from the corporate side (not the local team), my rate was dramatically increased shortly after signing up and being out of state, I had no recourse. Plan accordingly.

Went in to close my mom's account, open another in my name and move her stuff into a smaller unit. We were assisted by Daisy, who was incredibly helpful and immediately got us into the perfect sized unit. We were able to finish moving everything in 2 1/2 hours and we're saving over $375 a month now thanks to Daisy's help! Would definitely recommend this facility 6/5 stars

My unit was far too small and Maritza was so accommodating and helpful. The lady, Lan, in customer service advised a terribly small unit inspite me describing all my items. property gate is broken and now it’s a hassle but the customer service here is amazing new managers are always on point…wish they can get the help they really need to maintain this big property.
Terrible location. Elevator has been broken for many months. The one working elevator doesn’t work properly, so one does not work at all and the other is glitchy. I’ve gotten nails in my car tires multiple times and almost hit by the gate multiple times. The floor my unit is on smelled like gasoline for days and no one gave any explanation. The Bluetooth for the gate and elevator constantly don’t work. Today the gate actually closed on my new car while I was exiting and caused significant damage to my car. The previous male manager or employee (I’m not sure which he was) he was rude and dismissive so I’m happy he was not there today. As of July 1, 2024 the current property manager is nice, she put the claim in for me and no fault of hers but this process is already a headache. I just called the corporate number and tried to expedite the process getting my car fixed and they are giving me the run around saying I need to talk to the property manager which I already did. I demanded to speak with a manager. I was told the manager only has a personal cellphone number and they won’t give it out. I said that is unacceptable and they hung up on me. Someone needs to contact me asap or I will be taking legal action and will have a lawyer handle this on my behalf.

I had the best Experience yesterday. The young lady Ashley at the front desk was able to assist me with all my storage needs. She welcomed me with a smile. Provided me with excellent service and answered all my questions. She went above and beyond to get up the seat to teach me how to work the app. And the elevator as it is a little difficult. But once you get to know it, it is not difficult, amazing the best app you can have. You don't even have to touch that nasty keypad, Thank you, Ashley!

While the world of storage lockers is a dour and depressing world, a bright light of sunshine was shined on it, whenever I would visit my little slice of hell at Public Storage, by the amazing Ashley, who actually was a human being.
I was recently forced to vacate my apartment due to water damage from the recent storms.. Public Storage to the rescue!! This location is very clean/well maintained, with fair pricing and excellent customer service.
Andrew is an absolute gem of a human - he was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and caring. In the midst of this stressful/hell of a month (and many a mental breakdown) he managed to make me smile, and always went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed :)!
While I personally wish the location had longer access hours, I still consider it a five-star facility. Highly recommend !

Raised my rent by $150 per month. Otherwise a nice facility, but this was excessive, there was also no warning. It’s simply too much and I can’t wait to move my things out, but am in another country so I’m being forced to pay as they have all my stuff hostage.

I have had a unit here for a few years now! The staff is wonderful. Andrew goes above and beyond to help in anyway that he can. I wasn't able to gain access to my online account ever since I first got my unit and had pretty much given up on it. Andrew took the time to activate the account and reset the password for my access without me even having asking. He also always calls to let me know if there are any issues with my reoccurring payments to help me avoid accruing late fees. My experience at this location has been nothing but great! Thanks for making things so easy and simple!
Public Storage business model is to pass on a 30%-40% rate hike within 3-6 months of moving in. Aside from price gouging, the location hours are 9:30a to 6 pm, which means you have to plan your work day around public storage hours. Lastly, the gates are impossible to open - even if you are touching the gate with your bumper, it will say “out of range”. Not sure what's going on with the fake reviews that reference "amazing" on-site reps - pricing and contracts are all online and no onsite help is needed.
I had a great experience there. The property manager Andrew was very kind and helpful setting me up with a storage unit. He helped throughout the whole process, and seems to genuinely take pride in his work and helping others.
ROBBED. EVERYTHING was STOLEN and they could NOT CARE LESS. Wiped clean. THIEVES. BEWARE of this place! Do not leave anything you care about here! ZERO STARS.

They charged me for an entire month even though I moved out on the first instead of a prorated amount for 1 day which would have been appropriate. Scam artists. They continue to raise the rent every few months also. Bathroom doesn’t have a trash in it because they said people would throw trash in it, now is completely out of order. Poorly managed. What do they expect when they provide no trash bins anywhere on the property. Choose a different storage provider. You’ll be glad you did.

Rude. Inconsistent. Disorganized. Disrespectful. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. Unprofessional and unwilling to provide clear, consistent direction regarding the business they were hired to operate. Was given completely different information by several employees and their own confusion caused fees and significant inconveniences to us. Not to mention, they don’t always work the operating hours listed. I highly recommend finding another storage company - and run far away from this location.

What a scam! We went to move out on the first of the month and they say you must move out on the 30th or pay a full month. First, who moves on the 30th? Second, I didn't move in on the first. Third, they prorated for the half month when I moved in but not when I leave on the first? Okay so heartless corporate policy, sure, but Andrew at this location was not nice about it at all. His response was a cold "it's in the contract". Do not store your things here. On top of this experience, its hours are terrible, access from the street is awkward and limited, the gate and building codes don't always work and the staff (not just Andrew) are either useless or just plain missing. Worst storage experi
I was trying to reserve a unit in Texas and online customer care misguided me by telling me that after completing an online reservation , I can go to my nearest location in person and complete the process.
Special shout out to Andrew and Shay at this location who went above and beyond to resolve my problem (despite not being this location customer - out of state ) and helped me to complete my rental and payment.

Nicolas was on site at Jefferson Playa Vista location and was super helpful and nice. We had an elevator issue and he came right out to assist. He also was super friendly in showing us available spaces to switch to (I was downsizing to smaller). Finally he was very quick and efficient in getting all paperwork and rental cost adjustments made. Nicolas made us feel welcome and did a super job!

Today I called in about an administrative issue and I spoke with Maritza in the office. She was so helpful and so kind and made a very stressful situation much better for me.
I had a great experience going to my storage unit a couple weeks ago. Nicholas the sweetest rep at the front desk went over and above to help me get into my unit. I hate going in the elevator and he was able to unlock the stairwell and personally escort me up to make sure I was okay. He even checked on me to make sure I was doing alright and did not need his company going back down. He made my impression of Public storage a good one with caring people aside from this Playa Vista location being clean and convenient.
The saving grace of this company are the employees. Andrew offered great customer service.
Maritza and Andrew were so kind and helpful during the whole process. They helped me get the best deal during an extremely challenging time I was facing with an unexpected move. Thank you both so much.

Not sure if I agree with the rate hike twice this year. I was paying 288 for a 10x9.5 space in January 2022 then rate hiked to 363 in March 2022 and then without any notice the rate will be hiking to 497?! 288 to 497 in 1 year, think I should invest in this company instead of being its customer.

I have never experienced a person like Nicholas who is so knowledgeable, professional, incredibly patient and so wonderfully helpful. He deserves a quadruple raise,and in my faith I would say that he is a living saint!!!!

Awful company. Claim to be climate controlled, all of our stuff was damaged from insects and rats getting in storage unit. Charged us way more than what we originally agreed on. Auto pay doesn’t work correctly and we had to pay for their mistake. Absolutely DISGUSTING business. Take ur money elsewhere. They will bleed you dry and laugh all the way to the bank. F U guys.
Was able to get a great rate at a very central location for a 10’x10’ unit. Enough to fit most things for a small 2 bedroom apartment. The units are clean and seemed new, almost never used.
Closed my contract yesterday after emptying my unit and Nicolas & Rebecca were super helpful. Took only a couple of minutes to close and cancel my unit, and they were kind enough to help me out with returning locks and keys.
Overall very happy with location and staff who were more than happy to help with any issue.

Old Review This is a very nice place, very secure and very comfortable to be at. Have no fears coming hear somebody robbing me and the place is very clean. However, one thing I am not happy about is the access times. The hours of the office throughout the week or 9 to 6 and on weekends 9 to 5. The excess times correlate with those business hours. There's a storage two blocks down that has access times of 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily with the office hours similar to Public Storage. I don't understand with all the technology used to get in and out oh, were you have to have a cell phone or code to get both in and out of the gate why they can't have access similar to the hours down the street. I give it a 3 for that very reason. If it were only to judge it on the general Place security and cleanliness it would be a 5 but because of the access times oh, I read it only at 3 sorry.
Nicolas helped me out and I wanted to update my review. He was great! Dorian made my move-in experience very easy and quick. All instructions were clear and all my questions were answered satisfactorily. The storage is very clean and there are sufficient parking spaces in the lot. Security seems very robust. Thanks :)
Note added after my initial review:
- I returned the storage a few days after the beginning of the month but the public storage manager contacted over the phone decided to "screw" me by charging the rent for the entire month
- as a consequence, I have reduced the number of stars from 5 to 1

Nicholas is above and beyond helpful for my Art Galleries storage needs. Our uhaul truck down in Arizona he waited 2 hours over time to allow us to grab our car. You need employees like Nicholas.
I received a notice from Public Storage about an upcoming rent increase for our storage unit. The increase was pretty steep (35%). I called the facility to inquire about the increase. Rebecca was understanding and quite helpful. She indicated she would raise my concerns and call me right back. Rebecca was able to keep my rental fee the same for the next six months. This exceeded my expectations and am grateful for Rebecca's assistance and service.
Rebecca and Marissa are such an amazing, helpful team! I came in for a large TV box and this location was the ONLY moving place business who had this size box I needed on moving day. It’s an expandable to 70”. Wow. They even said I could return it if it wasn’t the right size, but I know it is so I’m SO HAPPY that it was here. I’d highly recommend calling here first!!
On Monday June 21, 2022 at approximately 3:00pm My sister Carolyn and I entered the office located at 12681 W. Jefferson Blvd requesting to use the ladies room. Rebecca, Isaac and Maritza were very friendly giving us the keys. Afterwards, I approached Maritza inquiring about the increase of my storage fee's Maritza requested my information and was very helpful with getting me approval for a better more affordable rate and with a credit for my July payment. Mr. Isaac was very helpful with assisting me with my lock and Key at the storage unit. All three employees displayed above and beyond excellent customer service. I would highly recommend my friends and family to this location if ever needed for any storage needs. I appreciate Public Storage and 5 STAR to all three employees.

I don't think what I'm writing about is unique to this particular Public Storage location. When we first started renting a unit here 5 years ago, the rent was $97/month. I knew it wouldn't stay that low forever, but it's getting ridiculous. It just went up 25% from $201/month to $251/month for the exact same unit. And the hours during which we can access our unit keep getting reduced. My husband and I arrived a little later than we expected yesterday. On a Saturday, one of the days when people who work actually have time to access their units, the place was closing at 5:00. We entered at about 4:55, we were out by 5:10. And today we got a snarky email about how we should not leave after hours because that is not respectful of other customers. It is Public Storage that is not respectful of its customers, raising rates and reducing access to the facility. When I have asked about this, I've been told it's a "safety" issue. The place used to be available for customer access until 9 p.m. If that was safe before, why is it not safe now? If they are blaming it on COVID, that's nonsense. The virus doesn't know what time it is. There was no one there between 6 and 9 p.m. before. How is that any less safe now? We are working on clearing out our unit because getting charged more for less just does not work for us.

The staff was helpful, it wasn’t crowded (6:00pm) as I thought it’d be. The storage units were clean and swept out. Plenty of carts available to move your things in or out of the units.
