Don’t store your stuff here!!!! There are thieves!! I am pretty sure that I was not the first one that experienced this. The day I moved in someone’s unit got broke in and she lost a $2k bike. I wish I took her advice. I experienced this first hand and this whole experience is so frustrating! The way the company handles it really cold and pretty leaves everything to insurance and policy office.

TODAY, Public Storage gets 5 stars due to Raina, Manager--I have had the same unit for 15 years (which is crazy because it has office stuff from just that long ago (Lucky for them, I have just never gotten around to going there to probably take 1/2 of it to recycling!)
Anyway, I usually am pretty good about making payments before the cutoff date and they text you and sometimes give personal reminder calls (very good for a busy or distracted person!) Well, they DID text me this time, but I got busy and missed a payment which i rarely do over a15+ year period. The late fee was pretty steep--they were the ones who called me to let me know I had missed the payment which was very nice (instead of having me forget and then their taking things out of the locker or sawing locks etc)-- I had called back when i realized I missed the call, and left a message asking if they would please forgive the late fee.
Well Raina (a property mgr) called me back in a short time and NOT ONLY said she would delete the late fee, BUT ALSO told me I was due for a fee raise (and the 5 X7 uint is already pretty steep) but she said she would extend the current fee for 6 months. THAT'S HOW YOU RETAIN CUSTOMERS! I had been considering moving and if that new fee had taken place, I would have scolded myself til i DID move! This is the way GOOD MANAGERS are supposed to be--working with a longtime customer to retain them, but that is SO RARE these days. So really, this is a shout out to HER, for being smart and kind, and so I won't be moving out!
we had trouble with our lock and needing a locksmith, but Karen was our absolute LIFESAVER! She was so helpful, so knowledgeable, and so kind! Dolores was wonderful as well!!

This location is very clean, there are working utility carts to use which makes getting your belongings into storage so much easier, and the front desk woman Delores is very helpful and kind. She was able to help me pick the best size for my needs and the entire process was made so easy by her.

STORAGE STOLEN!! Rented here for the past 4 years, came back after 1 yr to see my lock had been changed and a new public storage lock put on?! My key therefore did not work. When I asked the branch staff to help me, they said it would take 14 days to unlock! They confirmed to me that all my bills were paid and my account was in order. When they did unlock it, it was miraculously empty!!! All my stuff gone - no help or support from staff - I have asked multiple times to speak to a manager and no one gets back. Something dodgy is going on here - I am not the only one in the last month to have my storage stolen. I can see other similar reviews. Please be careful! I had no issues until this last trip, but something has certainly changed at this branch for the worse!
Delores is a gem, BUT the billing issue involving an account credit remains unresolved even after the manager called to confirm there was an error on their part. I'm hoping to have my faith in Public Storage's upper management restored before the end of the month. This is a costly expense and I'm just trying to be frugal.
UPDATE: It turns out the billing issue was resolved the same day but was not reflected in the app until much later.
Happy to be able to remain a customer particularly since the service has improved.

If you are looking for a storage place where your unit will be burglarized and robbed, boy you have found the place. It was so awesome how my unit was broken into and all my boxes ripped into and raided. If you are also looking to pay to have your stuff stolen, I definitely recommend this place. So as long as you want your storage place to not secure your belongings and be totally unhelpful, this is the place for you. I am so happy that I chose this place to store my stuff for a year, and in that year the prices were raised two times with no notice.

Terrific service. I work as a mover and sometimes we, the movers, need to charge our phones to let our clients to pay for work with our phone app or to get back to the yard. So we were loading our client’s stuff today on the first floor unit. As soon as we pulled up I nicely asked the front worker (there were 2 very nice dark hair ladies) and asked if there is a way to put my phone on a charge ‘cause I also had things to do after work. She respectfully refused to charge my phone even though I already had my dead phone and a charger in my hands (my charger charges devices 3 times faster than regular one so that would have made my day 100%).
So we finished the work and left absolutely unsatisfied cause it was a quest to come back home after work. 1 star for making my life even more difficult, also I open my apt front door with a phone app so had to wait also… they always let us to charge our devices in Public Storages but this one… besides all of that - they seemed to be very nice font desk workers but somehow I didn’t inspire trust in them…

Had a very positive experience getting a storage unit today at Public Storage. I called the location at 1901 S. Sepulveda several times to discuss my questions and Britany was very professional and was able to answer all my questions without hesitation. When I arrived at the facility, I got to meet Britany in person, but she happened to be with a client. So then I met Dolores, also a true pro! Both ladies were warm and hospitable. Keepers for sure. Dolores explained everything to me and showed me my unit. The facility is clean and easy to access, highly recommended!

Delores could not have been more helpful and kind during a crazy time at the start of Covid. We needed to quickly move our daughter's college dorm contents into storage and get home to the east coast. Each summer since then, we have relied on PS on Sepuleveda and every time Delores took care of us. Her help always came with a smile. We count her as a friend!

Nelly and Dolores are the worst customer service reps I have ever dealt with. dealing with them gets you nowhere, their lack of interpersonal skills amazes me.. all they know is how to escalate situations that started off as a normal questions.
My rent started at $60 and ended at $100, this was not stipulated in the contract so please beware.
reaching out to management was also hard, and they know it. Moving out was a headache. I had to show them an email from the their regional manager in order for them to give access to my sister and open my locker.
once you are in they will make it hard for you to get out ! please beware !!!!

The longer you pay your bills here the more exponentially they have will rise, they will twist fingers of the elderly to keep new people circulating. Pretty sure they twisted the old staffs fingers too, they clearly have zero loyalty and prefer the love of strangers to their tries and true.

I highly recommend this Public Storage. I was in need of a storage spot for some things and picked this one for the prices originally. Once I arrived Britney was at the front desk. She was very nice and informative, I had a lot of questions, too many as usual. Britany was not fazed at all, she had all the answers and explained the process very well. As usual I had some self serving questions but she was able to explain many of the rules and expectations up front. So it turns out I can't do whatever I want but that's ok for me. For now, just kidding she was great, super cool, and helpful. I was stressed before I got there but it's nice to deal with calm and practical people when you have a lot on your plate. He helped me and my boyfriend throughout our whole process as far as getting our unit, helping pick the proper size for our needs, looking for the best price, showed us around the building, how to operate and open the doors, helped us move in some of our items, great conversation, gave us water, leaf blowed our U-Haul for inspection, never left us hanging. The manager does not return calls , the corporate office “Judy” was rude and not helpful . Just told me they were going to keep my money even though I never agreed to a renters insurance . Horrible customer service . And there were rat droppings in my unit . Stay away at all cost

Had to rent elsewhere, had a reservation and no one was here in the afternoon. I had to call the customer service line and they told me someone would be here in 5-10 minutes, 1st red flag and there is no parking.

No one here, no signs and attitude while asked to help.
Miss Delores was a joy to work with, I had booked a storage space online and it ended up being too small. She walked a few units with me and my mover to make sure we had the space that we needed. She gave me tips on how best to fill the storage unit to get the best bang for my buck. Not a fan of the offline vs online pricing but that is outside of her control.
Today I learned that while a 5x10 vs a 7x8 is only a 6 sq ft difference, the amount that you can fit into the 7x8 is very different; we were able to fit all of my stuff into the 7x8 and not the 5x10. I believe this is because you can't put medium sized moving boxes side by side in the 5x10.
The upstairs units also have slightly higher ceiling clearance, which could mean another row of stacked boxes

Danny at the 1901 S. Sepulveda location was a massive help!!!! I was in a hurry to fill my storage unit and he helped me carry the boxes up the staircase. There was also a mix up in the storage unit and solved the issue very quickly and well with full integrity.
I appreciated my time utilizing the space at Public Storage for one year and a half. Specifically Delores was incredibly helpful and assistive when it came to supporting the move out process. I am grateful for the space and the convenience of being able to store my stuff there!

The hours are the only decent thing about this place. They stay open until 9:00pm but if you need to use the restroom past 5:00 or 5:30 when the front desk leaves, good luck. If your only renting a storage locker like myself, your like a 3rd class passenger on the titanic. You don't even have access to the actual building, they have a small caged corner underground in the PARKING LOT that has around 20 of the small lockers. Not any space to move around in the very small hallway, so if there's more than one customer back there at the same time, it's very hard to pull your items in and out due to the narrow, dimly lit, cold, dirty hallway. I have had my unit for 5 weeks and only chose this place because of the 1st month free (I still paid over $50 between administration fees they don't tell you about, the lock you are forced into buying although I told them I have my own, or the insurance your also forced to buy) Don't waste your time going here, I ended up finding another storage center that is more convenient for me, 6'6 instead of 3'4, and $40 cheaper every month. And no hidden fees.

Rented out a storage unit today. The facility is clean, and well managed. I purchased a lock and tape dispenser from the store, and had a very pleasant sales experience. The person who sold the items was Dolores, and she is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the storage product.
I came in today (1901 S Sepulveda location) to check into my storage space for the first time. I believe the woman who helped me is named Dolores — she was fabulous! This was such an easy, efficient experience from start to finish.
Dolores is a stellar rep who was very patient and answered all the questions even when I repeated certain points and asked to see the rates multiple times. Felt so good using Public Storage thanks to dealing with her. Definitely would recommend to anyone I know

I have been using public storage for 7 years. I've used them all over los angeles county for different reasons. This location is the worst one.
It's severely overpriced and dangerous. They have top units where one requires a ladder to get to. At other places you get a safer and convenient same size unit for cheaper price.
The next best is about 160 for a small unit. It's always locked and no one is around to unlock it. They promise to unlock during business hours. Don't believe it. Go to another location.

This is the best self storage location in Los Angeles by far. The staff is helpful, friendly and always professional. Delores, who is the property manager, is always willing to help. The property is clean, safe and easily accessible. Prices are great as well. The district manager named Dorsa is also very kind and willing to help in any way possible.
They went above and beyond to assist me when I was there. I definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for fair prices and great service.

This is an excellent choice if you are looking for storage. It is clean and offers many options, including lockers and big spaces. They are contactless but when you do see staff they are polite and helpful.
Amazing service for the past 1.5 years. Process to retrieve items was seamless. Delores was awesome, especially with consistently monitoring the locksmith who helped us (it took 1.5hrs!).
Easy, clean, safe facility. Delores the in house overseer of the facility is hands on, she is warm, responsive and has a larger than life character in addition to taking immaculate care of the facility.

Raina called me to alert me to a billing issue (my credit card expired) so that my account could remain current. Raina also alerted me to an upcoming price increase and helped me to understand and resolve that issue as well. Raina was friendly, communicative, and offered superior customer service.

Thus far my experience here has only been great. I've been at the facility a few times and each time I was assisted by Dolores, who is helpful, knowledgeable and generally lovely. She got me set up with a unit after giving me a tour of available spaces, and advised on the advantages of each floor. She showed me the Public Storage app which is surprisingly efficient for accessing the facility and elevator.
Raina and Delores were both very helpful. They were quick and efficient with explaining the building, showing me the unit, and walking me through the contract, as well as demonstrating the code system and providing carts. They also honored a slightly lower rate from an original reservation I made online when that unit was no longer available and there was a more expensive substitute. In all they helped make the process as painless as possible.
I do NOT recommend this storage unit. We are very disappointed in this establishment. After being there for just 5 months, we received a notification that the cost of our unit is automatically increasing by over $100 ($119 to be exact)! Please note that the cost of our unit is $299, so this is almost 50% the cost of our current unit!!!
That sort of rate hike in such a short time is completely unacceptable and unfair, especially to people who have to hire movers to move to another storage facility. The sad part is that we had recommended this storage facility to many of our friends who were planning on renting units there in the coming months, as the staff is super nice and helpful, but after hearing about our insane rate hike I am sure they will all go elsewhere.
Great facilty, great service. I showed up with a truckload of stufff after the office closed. I was in trouble when Delores came to my rescue. She was on her way home, but turned around, logged back in and patiently got me squard away with exactly what i needed. Thanks Delores!

First time renting a storage, I did the whole renting space online. But when I came in today try to get access to the gate. My code didn’t work. Thankfully, Delores is there to help me with it. We try so many times for the code to work, for so reason I still can’t get access to it. She is extremely helpful and help me to figure it out. Eventually we did finally figure it out. She even guide me through the whole process!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!
