Renting at the El Segundo facility was quick and easy. I did everything online and all of the access information was emailed to me and the unit was 100% ready (with lock and keys on the unit) the moment I arrived. Access codes were emailed to me making everything very easy and streamlined. Email communication with timely on their part. The unit itself was clean and easy to access. We will definitely be renting from them again in the near future when needed.

The terrible hours are what make this place worthless, banker hours. Canceling the storage space due to hours 9:30am - 6pm on weekdays and closing 5pm on weekends. A storage company that doesn’t care about their customers Employees offer a small discount if you give them a 5 start review. + Centrally located. - Bad hours. - Hours are set up to benefit the storage company. - Not worth having a storage locker if I can’t get to my stuff at a reasonable time. - Bugs from other lockers. - If they spray I don’t ever see anyone on site like Orkin or Terminix. - Staff is not helpful or friendly. - Gate is typically acting up. - Grounds look terrible. - Maintenance looks like they are being done by someone off of Craigslist. - The workers close the gates 20 min prior to closing time. - Bathroom is always dirty. - Toilet seat broken for months.

Rent constantly goes up… 2x in less than 2 years. The carts for moving your things are locked up at the front of the place so you need to walk it to your unit. Overall just seems like they want you to get all your stuff there then get stuck. Friendly employees though! Just the place itself is wack. No lights in the storage units either

Doesn't give you the whole month to pay. You have the 30th of this month til the 30th of the next month to pay. So if you get paid once a month and need to wait til the end of the month to pay, your items will be auction. Use another storage. I was told this is a rule in California.

Go anywhere but here. A leaking pipe caused water damage to 75% of my stuff including mold and bugs!!!!!!!! and they couldn’t care less. They open 3 hours after open time. I will be following this until the very highest point of the company and everyone is going to have to be held accountable. It’s unacceptable. They expect respect yet don’t respect your time, money or items. I’m easy to please when my stuff isn’t destroyed. It’s hard to be this bad. Avoid at all costs.

Black mold in the unit and they don’t care! Horrible customer service. Found mold In the unit and they literally told they don’t care and feel free to call the Health Dept. They stated that mold is part of the risks you take when you rent the unit… run the other way!

It's absolutely unacceptable that there is no gate access after 6 pm! And then I follow the prompt on the gate access control to call and I'm told there's no exceptions? I've never had an issue with gate access at any other location I've used in the country but here.

I came in today looking for different prices for units.A young man name Pedro gave me a tour of the property. He showed me the safety features of the location and the benefits of their app. Pedro and Maria are a great team, they were both very helpful and professional.

They close the access gate at 6pm. That’s way too early! I’m sick of trying and failing to make it there after work 🙄

I was going to give it a ONE star but I added the extra star because you can use your cell phone to open the gate. OK so here's my situation I emptied out my unit middle of September so that I won't be Billed for the month of October. October comes and I get billed $84.17 on Oct 4th. I made four calls to the office I was told to allow 3-5 business days. It's already 10/14. Office Personnel is not worried about it. But if it happened to them they too would be calling for their money. I'm not going to stop calling until I see my money on my account.. My next call is to the Corporate Offices.

Gave Pedro and Raeven a 5 star review, earlier in the week, which they deserved as their customer service was excellent. The female service rep on Saturday was excellent also. However on Sunday May 29th the customer service rep who identified herself as the property manager was a poor customer service rep, rude when she could have been helpful, arrogant when she could have been friendly, she went to great lengths to be obnoxious. Having used this storage facility most of the week, I noticed that 1 of 5 dolly cart had bad wheels and would not steer straight under load. So today I requested any cart but that cart which was unlocked by a key labeled 2 with a white background. To my surprise instead of giving me another cart she deliberately gave me the cart labeled 2 and insisted in a rude manner that I had to take any cart that I was handed. Why ???? Why should I take a cart with bad wheels, which is exactly what she gave me. Why could she not be kind and courteous and give me one of the carts that I had asked for? When I stated that I was going to complain to management she stated that I could not come back onto the property that day. Why? Because I called her on a poor service! That’s an unfair retributive act, and itself poor customer service in addition I was not given the key to lock the dolly’s both times I used them, and the hasp would not lock without the key. I told her of this fact and she accused me of not locking the locks. But the reality is the locks needed the key to unlock and the locks needed to be lubricated as they are out in the open air all day, every day. Also wireless passcode scanner app stinks never works! You have to get out of the car and manually add the code to open the gate!

This is a horrible company. You should avoid them if you can. They constantly try and raise the rent every month and say it’s in your contract we can raise it at any time, they went from charging $600 a month to charging me $800 a month. Customer service is horrible, whatever you do , find somewhere else to store your stuff.

Chrissy was so very helpful! We were able to rent a unit in just minutes. Most of all we appreciated Chrissy’s “can do” attitude.

I had an opportunity to meet Lance and Raven this morning when I went to pay my Public Storage bill at the El Segundo location Upon entering the business I was immediately greeted by both employees and asked how my day was going. I paid my bill and asked about some boxes that I realized I needed. Without asking, Lance overheard my request and walked around the counter and pulled the boxes out from behind some other items. Not only did Lance put the boxes together for me, he walked out to my car and assisted in putting them in. Both Lance and Raven were courteous, helpful and kind. They are true professionals who represented your brand admirably.

I can't say enough great things about this location! Rebecca was lovely and so helpful when I first went to get a unit, and just now Lance went above and beyond when I was looking for another space on the same property. The location is clean and you can defiantly see that the Managers take pride.

The staff working here were professional and expedient in helping me secure new storage. Lance was especially helpful in navigating me through the process since it was my first time purchasing. Super friendly and was lent a cart to move my belongings. I highly recommend.
