Had my stuff here for years !At one point FIve units , ya I know , TOO MUCH CRAP - anyway - I was auto pay for year paid my bills on time - We moved from Alameda Feb 2023 - got delayed until April 2024 in Morgan hill due to many surgeries - We vacated a unit that had only 2 boxes in ( my husband 😡) and I asked the man working if we were good bc the man that was just here ALSO said what we were told years prior by an anger cost as we were waking in “ THEY SCREW YOU TELL YOU YOU ARE good & screw you later - so I even called James the “ Manager “ who lives on site & I’ve had a great relationship with “ am I good or do I owe for an entire month ?” You’re good no money owed “ this man saw me , saw my husband & son more , we chatted , he stood there while a 53 ‘ tractor trailer and 6 men were loading the remaining 4 units , we laughed commiserated …NEVER did he EVER mentioned I owed him money for the vacated unit - Last week I noticed my credit score dipped , which is odd bc I pay my bills - today I got a call from COLLECTOR!! THEY SEMT A $300 bill to collections ! NO CALL MO JAMES ASKING - I call him today & out of the gate he remembers me HOWS COLORADO? Ya so you did remember - if they sent billls to Alameda address it would have bounced back - I had 4 other units for 6 more months 🤷‍♀️- He initially said “ ya I remember that conversation “ you can hear head looking up the acct - then he says now he remembers it differently - as in EXACTLY HOW IT WAS READ BY THE CORP OFFICR WHICH WAS ON MY ACCOUNT! Listen it’s NOT the money , it’s the fact they LIED ! I WAS WARNED & NOW IM WARNING EVERYONE ELSE - I will pay the bill today when you agree to writing a letter of explanation BECAUSE IF YOU DONT , that bill will eventually fall off , I will open another CC to fix their screw up only credit - I will update this review - now them COLORADO SPRINGS PS GET READY IM COMIMG FOR YOU NEXT ! I will Yelp Googs review your sheister practices on EVERY SM PLATFORM & EVERY DAMN DAY I WILL HIT UP ANOTHER PS FOR A REVIEW ! I DONT LIKE TO BE LIED TO OR TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF - BTW WHEN YOU CALL , the supervisor simply in so many word says FU what are you going to do & i LITERALLY SAID FU WATCH ME 🤷‍♀️- the choice is yours - hell I’m retired I will hand out flyers for other companies while explaining in front of your damn locations - I WIILL COST YOU A LOT MORE THAN THE LETTER CLEARING MY NAME - I am most sure there is a class action in here somewhere - look it took one post on X about Priceline & 3 days later , we have a class action THE PEOPLE ARENT TAKING YOUR bs , try me

And being a Senior Military Service Member I identify the people that serve applying the rules…. Gaby, Enrique and Edson are Awesome Customer service Agents and CompnAssets…. I’m very thankful!!

Amelia was fantastic and these 5-stars are for her alone. Public storage consistently increased our rent over the course of our 8-month stay by over a third of the initial cost. They also refused to grant us two extra days to move out (after a sudden death in the family), stating we'd have to pay for the entire month if we weren't completely out by the day before our next scheduled payment. These are predatory and unethical business practices, but Amelia made our transition into a smaller unit seamless. Without her, we would have moved out completely and would not have rented from Public Storage again.

it's a great facility, security and climate control are top notch. however they seem to raise prices substantially every 6 months or so. the price for our tiny 5x5 space more than doubled in just 18 months. if you can afford $3500/year for a closet and perhaps need a cool year round temperature for your collection of human heads then it may be worth it but we went with a much cheaper local option.

James has been fabulous! The facility is always clean. He responds quickly to concerns. We were away during heavy rains; he called to describe the details of water runoff above and below ground to reassure us. We had no damage at all from storage in 3 years. They took precautions to prevent any damage from regular painting of the outside of the units. The area is safe. Peet’s coffee nearby. Our 20’ truck driven by experienced movers maneuvered easily. We are the kind of people who visit our unit periodically. We never had any problems with access or damage. Five stars for 3 years!

Jean was the one to assist me with my walk in rental. She did a fantastic job. I am definitely looking forward to renting here. This is probably the better of the public storages I've rented at.

horrible experience. i’ve had my units for only just a month and the website, app and customer service line all reject my payments so now i’ve been hit w unnecessary late fees. i came to my location which is nowhere near me and there was employee who refused to help me when i explained to her that i had a move out date and i was trying to access the property. she was very rude and she ended up not even trying to help and just leaving me in the front of the property. this whole experience was horrible, after this, i will NEVER use this location or Public Storage in general again it’s too much of a hassle. JAMES YOU ARE AN ANGEL AND ALWAYS WAS FROM THE BEGINNING THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP

I came in for an appointment to purchase use of a unit and the door was locked. There was a person inside... I knocked on the door.. they looked up and smiled at me... Confused, I checked the door for an out to lunch sign or any thing to understand why the person wasn't letting me in?? And then I left because... that was super unprofessional.

Been waiting for someone to show up at the office for over 45 mins after my appointment time. I called the central office and they stated they were cleaning a unit.. ok that’s fine, but I have appointment and it’s does seem to me that customers service is a priority.. This is the rudest and unprofessional experience I have ever had with a storage facility. Lights off and door locked at 1041am been here since 947am when they open at 930am.. appointment was at 10am.. after all the shenanigans that occurred the district manager raced over and made everything right. He is a true asset to public storage and their customer service reputation. He jumped right in and got things resolved.. Thanks again for all the help.

Yes, there is competition in the “you-store-it” marketplace. If you shop around, you may find a cheaper price for the “same” storage space. But once you really crunch the numbers, you’ll discover Public Storage has the others beat. The Alameda California Public Storage offers a convenient location, competitive prices and a variety of storage-space sizes to meet anyone’s need. Beyond that, sign-up was easy and close-out was even easier. My entire experience was exemplary. My favorite element was access using the mobile app. No more entering a six-digit code into a keypad. (That’s so 2009.) Bluetooth entry made entrance and exit a breeze. Thank you, Public Storage!

In addition to her competency, Ms Baker was extremely helpful with explaining and assisting with the successful downloading and functioning of the public storage application for remote access & PS's payment methods. Ms bakers inclusion a monks Public Storage the staff is a plus for both Publix stores and their clientele. Ms Baker makes the experience at Public Storage a pleasure and me and as a result thereof, she has left me with an extremely positive & memorable experience. Came in to check the place out and see how it fit with our needs. James, the manager at the Webster Street location was extremely accommodating, transparent and professional. He understood our needs and did not try to give us a hard sell. He patiently addressed all our questions and concerns and even went over the contract with us line by line! I truly appreciate his attention and service!
