Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 2421 N Black Canyon Hwy, Phoenix, AZ

{ rarely have I reason to remember to write a review about my experience with customer service these days, especially when dealing with storage facilities, and fast food chains,But this place seems to have got it Right. The lady at the desk (Angie) made me feel i was not only paying for a storage unit, but the person behind the desk who patiently with a smile answered all my questions then went over options that would best accommodate my budget and space requirement. Finally a place made me feel that my hard earned money was appreciated at their business!!!

Angie’s the best! I was upgrading my unit but not too sure about the size. The agent, Angie got right to it Selecting sizes and showing me different options finally decided on one for later this year Then my plans changed and I needed a bigger unit like now Angie went back to work trying to find me a unit that I could move into then she worked up all the paperwork and I did nothing but stand there and sign and pay. It was a great experience. Thank you Angie for all your help

Super easy to book initially and then transfer to a smaller unit. Clean facilities.

I called and she had a attitude and tried to get me to go to another location when they had the unit I wanted available 10-1 2.33pm

I went to this particular location because I read other positive reviews about the customer service at PS. I currently have a unit at Extra Space and the guy has no personality and resembles a sloth so I was extremely pleased to encounter Cody and his awesome customer service skills...thanks for validating the hype, Cody!!!

This place is a rip off. First of all the lady didn’t know anything about her job. She gave me 2 price options and at the end neither was true. We walked I. Circles because she know where any units were at! Then once I picked one she had a worker go and he tore out insulation and wool pales to install some camera or some but he left a mess and I later found out that because they gave me a used lock someone entered my unit and things were not as I left them. I moved out the very next day!! Crooked business!!

She was very kind and very courteous through what was an extremely difficult situation for myself and my family. For storage it's great. Climate controlled staff is pleasant I can go in and stay cleaning out my unit all day with no problems

Where do I begin? We (me and my partner) have felt singles out by the male manager. We both have autism and have service animals that he promptly said we're not allowed in the storage area, he started blaming us for random dogs pooping in the rocks outside. Told us we are on "probration" and if we make another mistake they will take out storage. We have had instances where our storage was securely closed only to be called to say it's open. I am worried he is trying to steal our belongings just like other people have stated on the reviews. He treats us with disrespect and acts like we go to our storage too much. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I must begin by urging you to avoid renting a storage unit from this particular facility. During my recent visit to check on my storage unit, I was shocked to learn from the employee, Timothy, that despite my consistent monthly payments, my unit had been auctioned off in January without my knowledge. Timothy then attempted to backtrack, claiming that the unit had not actually been auctioned off and instead blamed the district manager for having someone remove and discard my belongings without adhering to the required notification process as outlined by Arizona law. As our conversation progressed, Timothy also implicated his coworkers in the matter, expressing his frustration with Rayanne and Rebecca for allegedly lying and creating a difficult situation for him to navigate. He even went as far as stating that he wanted to physically confront them. Furthermore, Timothy curiously mentioned being aware of the contents of my unit, including valuable items such as a wallet containing identification and Social Security cards, yet claimed to be unaware of the unit's rightful owner. Upon inspecting the unit together, I noticed that Timothy was wearing a pair of shoes that belonged to me. When questioned about the missing footwear, he abruptly closed the office early under the pretense of needing to make a store run, only to hastily drive off when pressed for an explanation. I have meticulously documented our interactions and have audio recordings of our conversations for reference. It is clear that there are significant discrepancies in the information provided by Timothy and his questionable behavior raises concerns about the integrity of this storage facility. I strongly advise seeking storage solutions elsewhere to avoid similar issues and ensure the safety of your belongings.

I had things stored here for 7 years. I had several boxes of belongings stolen, the place is infested with rats, and the employees are rude as hell.

Prices,some of the most affordable around,staff is stressed but nice.

If you're looking for a unit, go anywhere else. The complete lack of customer service is astonishing. I have just been trying to close the account. Leaving message for the "property manager" who doesn't respond and the 888 number just told me they already charged the next month's rent and can't refund it until the property manager responds.... it's not worth it. At $300+ a month for years the least you can do is have someone on property, or return a phone call.

Shady place, no security, lazy management, looks like there are people living out of their rented unit. My unit got broken into. I didn't have proof, but I felt like I knew who it was. I spoke with management about it, and i swear it was like i was bothering them. The property manager, when i asked her name, said that company policy for security reasons tells them not to give their name. (The property manager said this) Two weeks later, with no access to my unit and not knowing if my unit was still beng vandalized, i was notified that the door was fixed. Apparently, whoever did this knows that their cameras dont work and that removing the door by popping it off the rails is fairly simple. When I spoke with management about it, it doesn't even look like they are trying to make it right. Well, it gets brought up to me by the other renter that management told them that I'm going around saying that they broke into my unit. Now that dosnt sound very professional and was not true I explained what I said and that if I had proof or any real anything to back up my paranoia of anything and everyone at that moment when all my personal belonging were rummaged through that it would have been known. So if you have a choice/option to rent somewhere else, it could still be with this company, just not this location i would really recommend that u do.

I moved into the wrong unit thankfully Rebecca and Mathew were such great help they worked together to get me into a unit I would be happy with and I still got to keep the 1$ first month promo ... And that was a relief .. .. out of all storage places I have rented at . This location has by far been the most helpful and not so stressful.. Thank You Rebecca for knowing your stuff and Mathew being the help to carry it thru...

I needed to downsize my unit very quickly, and the help and customer service I received from Albalese was absolutely amazing!!! She was extremely nice and professional. She was able to find me a unit 2 spaces away from my current unit!!! I couldn't ask for anything else. I've been renting from this location for a long time and the property is always immaculate and the staff is wonderful and professional. I would definitely recommend this location for anyone needing a storage space.

I can never get a call back. No one is ever at the property. I've called at least ten times this month. Showed up a few. Still waiting since October 8th. If you're looking for somewhere reliable or communication, keep going. And they are raising the price, they don't hesitate to call me and my mother for they money but can't answer or return calls or be at the property. I will never ever rent from any of them again...

We've been here for several years and needed the office's help with something. McKenzie was truly a godsend! She was so friendly and willing to help us right off the bat, truly making our problem her problem. We'd recently been considering changing locations, but the customer service McKenzie provided made us change our mind to stay put.

For what I pay, it's not the greatest I would say... First, they are no dollies to help move the items from care to your unit not even if your unit is in the second lot all the way in the back when there is only one entrance.. I have a heart/lung problem and it makes it hard for me to bring or take out anything.. second, I know it's not healthy for me to breath in this stuff, but unfortunately at the time I got this unit rented out was the closest and last min storage that I could find.. but there inside of the unit, the insulation in the wall it is not covered at all, the entire wall is open and Everytime I grab something out move something there insulation gets everywhere.. I had to rewash allot of my clothes and some I had to get ride of sure to not being able to completely remove the fiber glass stuck in them.. cuz Everytime I would wear it, it itches... I had told a worker here but apparently they don't care.. and today I came to storage after not coming a month and forgot my keys I came to the office to see if possible they could unlock it for me, since it is there lock and I would think they would Have a spear but at 4:40 pm there was absolutely no one in the officers or walking around. Thought they closed at 6.. I even called the office and no answer, left a voice message and still no response what so ever... If I could I would stop paying here and move somewhere else but did to my condition it's hard for me to do so much movement and work.. can't believe I haven't heard from them, and I've been sitting here by my unit and have gone multiple times to check if there back and nothing...

They tell you that you’ll only pay $1, then $30 and end up paying $120. They tell you promotion bs to get you in ☠️
