Storage Unit Features
Indoor Storage Units
Indoor storage units are storage spaces down a hallway, with the area in front of your unit door covered from rain and the elements. Our indoor units can come with elevator access and wide hallways. These units work well for long-term storage as well as shorter stays.
Climate Controlled Storage Units
If you're storing items that are sensitive to hot or cold, such as furniture or personal documents, try one of our climate controlled units. These spaces work to take the edge off of the weather outside. Depending on local weather conditions, cooling or heating may be used.
Climate controlled storage is not available at all Public Storage locations, or all storage units, so be sure to check online or with your location manager if these units are available.
Drive-Up Storage Units
With spacious loading areas and large roll-up doors, our outdoor storage units are perfect if you need easy, drive-up access to your things. The temperature in these units is usually similar to local weather conditions, so keep that in mind when you are selecting your storage unit.
Vehicle Storage Features
We offer small and large vehicle storage units at some of our Public Storage locations. Depending on your location, the number of vehicle storage spaces will differ depending on demand, so please check online for the latest availability and pricing options.
Uncovered, Outdoor Vehicle Storage
Uncovered, outdoor spaces are great if you just need to get your vehicle off the street or out of the driveway. Think of this as a designated parking space away from home, reserved just for you.
Covered Vehicle Storage
Covered spaces have a protective overhang that offers additional coverage from the elements, such as rain. Your vehicle won’t be completely sheltered if you choose this option.
Enclosed Vehicle Storage Units
Enclosed spaces are completely surrounded by walls and a ceiling — similar to a garage stall — and are ideal if you need long-term vehicle storage.
