Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 1 Oyster Point Blvd, South San Francisco, CA

Budget Storage Public Storage at 1 Oyster Point was the cheapest option for storing our household belongings during a recent remodel. The units are easy to move into and out of, but I would like to caution you that outdoor units are different from indoor units in terms of dust and potential for rodent issues. One thing I've learned is that things go wrong from time to time. When they do, the customer service you receive is what is most important. In the end, Public Storage made things right with us, but it did take a lot of effort. Bottomline: Public Storage at 1 Oyster Point could be a good option for some storage, especially for commercial use or non-soft goods items.

I rented a unit here in January, and five months later, my rent was raised by fifty dollars, and on my eight months, my rent was raised again by fifty dollars. So I was there less than a year and my rent went up one hundred dollars. So I packed up and found a much cheaper place to store my belongings. 👋🤚🖐

For the first time i experience a second issue about the storage, previously it was that one of the team members was watching me close bcuz i gave an item to some guys that had a unit but that was in Sf. Second moving to oister point was quite disappointing that i found my lock and the the door was force some how that i had to move to another unit. Its like they need more checks on the cameras.

I had the best customer service experience over the phone with a great young lady name Guivy. She went above and beyond and met my needs. There is now a pond (with ducks!) filled with massive potholes that one must cross to access the facility. If you have a normal commuter vehicle, be aware that your rims and trims will get busted if you hit one of those potholes.

I had a great experience here especially the service. Guivy was extremely nice and knowledgeable. She took care of my storage needs quickly and efficiently. She deserves a promotion immediately!!!

I am only giving this 5 stars because of Guivy and Courtney. They were extremely helpful, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I had to deal with a couple of other people there who did not know what they were doing. Also, getting someone to call me back after leaving several messages was very frustrating. But, again, cudoes to Guivy and Courtney!

if I could give a zero star review I would. They emailed me my reservation with a dollar promotion. I tried to pay online the system glitched so I tried to pay over the phone. They confirmed that it was a system glitch. They were unable to take payment over the phone so they recommended that I go in person. I drove over an hour out of my way to pay it in person only for them to tell me they couldn’t help me. I spent two hours at the location trying to figure it out and even the property manager confirmed that I should get the promotion but their system wouldn’t allow him to charge it to me. I also spent many days over the past week on the phone with terrible customer service. Charles at the front desk of this location is very nice and tried to help but you can’t help your customers if the company you work for is terribly structured. I would not rent from this company, purely on the basis of terrible customer service, terrible company structure, and poorly trained call center employees.
