About Mansfield

Mansfield is a rapidly-growing suburban city in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex area, nearly equidistant from the major cities of Fort Worth, Dallas and Arlington. Mansfield hosts a range of family-friendly events and attractions, offering something for locals of all ages and interests. The local park system includes more than 10 different neighborhood parks, which feature children’s play areas, picnic space and peaceful green areas. The parks and recreation department also manages several athletic fields, golf courses and a large activity center. You can enjoy 3.5 miles of trails on foot or bike, and the city’s 80-acre nature park is a local favorite during the spring months.

In the hot summer season, many Mansfield locals make regular trips to the city’s Hawaiian Falls Water Park. It’s a large, 10-acre park with numerous water slides, a lazy river and shaded cabanas. Farr Best theater is a local institution, established in 1917 and still host to a variety of performances. If you’re interested in the city’s history, you can visit the Mansfield Historical Museum.
