Absolutely would not recommend this storage place. I have been renting a 5x10' unit for years that continues to increase in price. I was originally charged $50/month which has increased to next month they want $150! Despite units of this size still being offered for $60 on their website.
Not to mention that there have been at least two break ins, the ceiling falls apart and gets your stuff dirty. The gate isn't working half the time and is left wide open. Office never answers the phone but one guy tried to be helpful after I submitted a move out date.
Don't be tempted by the low price initially or the location. This place is subpar but charges like it isn't. Shop around and you can easily find cheaper, more secure units with better customer service.
EDIT*** they offered to “delay” my price increase shortly after I put up this review and submitted a move out date. Didn’t even say the increase would be cancelled or reduced, just delayed!! Also added photos of the disgusting ceiling and how dirty it made my stuff!

Watch mangement in the process of cleaning had to leave to grab gloves come back to stuff missing with a note on my storage unit leaving one person accountable the worker no cameras by the unit so don’t have proof but I honestly believe he stole after thinking I wasn’t gonna arrive back to finish the unit
Update; Steve called me back, and I got to meet with him. And he resolved all my issues with my storage unit. Really great guy. I recommend him to all that have storage business. 👍

I have utilized the service of storage for 20+ years and with several other providers than Public Storage. In all the experiences I have had with property managers and facilities, my interactions with this property's manager, Steve, have put Public Storage as the #1. Steve is a phenomenal individual who enjoys his job and provides excellent customer service. From the first day of renting the unit I have there currently, Steve was helpful, accommodating, informative and made the process smooth and welcoming. He made it a point to connect with me in a way that made me feel as if I was not just another transaction. I have had this unit for over 2 years, and there were a few times financial hardship caused me some late payments. Even through these challenges, Steve was always available to communicate with me, going above and beyond to help me work through them. His ability to connect with customers, be professional and manage expectations is outstanding. Honestly, I have considered moving my things to another facility at times, however I always decide not to because it's more valuable to stay with Public Storage and be taken care of by Steve. He is a gem! Thank you, Steve for all you do!

Every single thing in our unit is covered in a thick coat of mud water & dust & what I think is a thin spray of paint! For the outrageous price you would think they would have more respect for your stuff & cover the gaps & cracks b4 they start cleaning & painting the outside of their facilities! I cried when I opened my door & found all my stuff was covered & somethings were jus ruined! I'm sick about this! Wow!

Steve the on site manager is awesome. He went out of his way to help me out. I had scheduled a time to meet with him past closing hours and he went out of his way to accommodate me. Well I was running late beyond that time and even though he didn’t have to he still helped me. Honestly he didn’t have to do anything he did to help me out but he did. I run a small business and also carry the weight of a full time job and the dedication he shows to doing his job helped me in more ways than he knows and than most will understand. I have dealt with many managers from storage facilities some good, some bad, but very few are exceptional. Steve is one of those few. Thank you from myself and my family…it was a pleasure doing business with you.

They raise prices to ridiculous amounts and get you in the door with something cheap. I'm now no longer able to afford my monthly fee and will have to take my business elsewhere. This location never answers the phone with a super creepy manager to boot. Very unhappy with my experience with this particular location and Public Storage.

Growing people you don't store food in and outside storage locker and then get mad at management because you ended up getting mice in your food that you stored which is against policy.... Don't take your anger out on the management they don't know what you're storing!

They progressively charge more and more, each month, for the same unit. The cost of my unit nearly doubled within a year. The facilities seem understaffed and employees are spread to thin to be available to help in a timely manner. I wasted too much money here.

I honestly can’t say enough about him and his overall customer service. Going above and beyond doesn’t emphasize this man’s work ethic whatsoever. I highly recommend this location and seeing Steve for any and all of your questions/troubles. Aside of this location we have several units throughout Columbus and will continue to without question because of him and our experience. Thank you!!
The attendant was pretty helpful with selection of space and picking out boxes. He also told me how to do the whole registration online which was pretty easy, overall grate customer service would definitely recommend.

I am very pleased with my experience at Public storage! I lost my keys to my lock and hired someone to come break it. To say the least, being alone and a woman, I did not feel comfortable & Steve went above and behind and stood with me the entire time!! In my opinion the customer service experiences outweigh the facility, cleanliness & everything else that can be changed if needed. You can’t get back a bad customer service experience if you have one. Steve & this facility get a 10/10 from me!! Thanks again :)

I had to find a storage unit quickly because my apartment wasn’t ready to move into on time. Steve helped me pick out the unit I needed and sign up with no problems. Couldn’t be happier.
I hate this company. I sincerely regret putting my belongings in this storage unit. All they want is your money. My storage amount started out at $110. Now a year later it’s over $200. The storage is also in bad shape. The ceiling of the storage is falling down over all my stuff. I missed my payment on the 1st. I made my payment a couple weeks late and already I am being threatened that I would lose my belongings to auction. I have made all my payments on time except this 1. I have been a loyal customer and that means nothing to them.
Steve helped us a lot today and got us in to get a nice unit for a great price … I recommend if you want a unit then Steve is the guy to talk to.
I highly recommend using this facility. Steve at the desk was a delight! We walked directly in after finding the location on google and within 20 minutes Steve had us set up with our storage unit. He even went out of his way to walk to our unit with us and show us how the door/lights worked and how to set up our lock and key. I was very happy with the service we received and will feel comfortable storing my items with them!

Was offered a unit, accepted it, traveled 40 minutes to be told it was cleaned out the day before. I could of got my gas back at $4 a gallon.
