We walked into the property with just questions but Sofia was so helpful that we ended up renting with her . She is a awesome manager .

Absolutely disgusted with Sophia and Dawn. Called ahead before I reserved a unit and spoke with Sophia about how we needed a storage unit to back trailer in. She seemed like she knew what we needed, so I went ahead and reserved a unit at this location. Got to the facility Sunday DURING office hours and barely fit through the gates with a dually and trailer. I’m talking about 2 inches on both sides. Attempted to back into unit but was unsuccessful due to the narrow lanes. Went to the office, no one was there. Called, no one answered. Left a message, no one called back. Called customer service and they let me know that they were going to urgently email her. Sophia did not call back until the next day, which was useless because my husband worked that Monday. We ended up getting a unit at the other Newark location. Called the next weekend and spoke with Dawn to transfer my unit to the other location and she was unable to do it without DM. Dawn said that the DM would not do so until the following Monday. Which again, was useless because my husband works Monday - Friday. Called We Care and finally got some help. We Care refunded our unit at this location and now we don’t have to deal with stupidity. Dawn’s only advice was to go ahead and book another unit. They wouldn’t transfer my unit because they would lose out on sales and they wouldn’t even refund the lock that I didn’t even use! Honestly worst customer service I’ve had to deal with. When I finally spoke with Sophia… she let me know that she doesn’t work on Sundays when office hours are clearly 9-530 that day. If you have a big truck or moving vehicle, go to the other Newark location. This facility is small and has very narrow lanes, so it is very difficult to get in and out of this place. Sophia and Dawn will keep your money even if the unit doesn’t work for you.

Greed. Just terrible. So beware customers.I am now going from 356 dollars a month to 445. This is how you treat your customers! And I am also a senior citizen and a veteran. Can't believe your Greed Public Storage. You cause stress. Of all the bills I have this one goes up the most. You make me sick, mad and angry. I am not the only one. Do not rent storage long term. If you leave your stuff there they will continually raise prices without providing any additional value. The only way to change your pricing is to move your stuff to a different unit - costing you, the customer, time.

I have used this storage favility in the past, it is a nice facility for storage of household goods. It always seems to be clean and accessible. However, even when I am there during the day there does not appear to ever have anyone on duty. This was inconvenient when I had some questions, or wanted to use the trolly. I've never worried about vermin there. The units and grounds are kept clean. It is secure too. There are indoor and outdoor units available. The biggest problem I have experienced at this location is that the locker numbers are not intuitive and seem to be completely random.

What can I say .. Sofia is the best manager at public storage . She has always helped us transferring , downsizing and upgrading . Thank you Sofia

The bill increases every 90 days went from paying $70 to $130 in less than a year never was informed of this.

Sofia is the best.PART 1. I wanted to downsize but the other location on Cedar was vacant, at least two days in a row, so Sofia offered to do my transfer from her location. PART 2 After I realized my stuff wouldn't fit in the smaller unit, I humbly asked Sofia to cancel everything. Sounds simple but me having two units, cancelling one within 24 hrs, starting a new one etc., made my request complicated but Sofia handled everything well. She explained the refund for the smaller unit might not show for a day or two. PART 3 She called me back more than once to give me updates on my account because she noticed the refund still hadn't posted on my account, which is fine. I mean who does that? Checks on a customers account to make sure everything posted correctly and then calls back with information. Amazing. Best customer service I've ever had in any service. Very personable, conversational, polite, professional, knowledgable, friendly, laughs at my stupid jokes. I can't say enough good things about Sofia. Makes me want to rent from their facility even if I live far away. :)
